  1. My Blood group is

    A Rh+

according to my old military records. Would this be problem if I would need blood here in Thailand?

Mine is A Rh+ as well, George. We would be all right if we ever needed blood! :o

  2. Important notice! Are you a blood donor?

A US citizen living in Bangkok is in URGENT need for blood type “O negative” donors. He is currently at Bumrungrad hospital in Bangkok where he is on the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) with kidney failure and an abnormal sized liver. This blood type is very rare especially among Asian

people and so far no blood of this type is in stock. If you have this blood type or know anyone who does, please contact one of us. We can be reached 24/7:

Claus Boman, phone 069 88 00 11 (speaks English and Scandinavian languages)

Supreeya Premthong phone 01 33 01 565 (speaks English and Thai).

The donation will take place in Bumrungrad Hospital at Sukhumvit Soi 3. All transportation and hospital fees will be taken care of.

  3. I just checked a paper. Let me write it down here a bit.

Serviced apartment, Sukhumvit 38, A studio (45 sq.m.), F/F, cable TV, Direct telephone, Pool, Sauna, etc. for 15,000 THB

Another one on Sukhumvit 11, Executive suite (43 sq.m.), complimentary utilities charge (water & electricity), daily cleaning, cable TV, internet services, electronic safe, kitchenette... for 50,000 THB

Another one on Rama 4 Rd., 1 Bedroom Suite (78 sq.m.), furnished, cable TV, restaurant, minimart, laundry, pool, sauna, fitness centre, etc. for 19,000 THB

I live in Pathumthani. I don't think it'd be convenient for you to stay in this area if you wanted to explore our capital city.

I hope my post is not against Terms of Service. :o

  4. This is great. I'm feeling good alrady thinking and talking about nothing. :o

Last night, I watched TV a little, read my magazine and made it an early night. I woke up this morning with a great feeling. Then, found a text message from my friend waiting for me. S**t, my friend the singer.. she has decided to quit her job... again! Shame I didn't go to see her last night. Who would have thought it would be her last night there.

Started working like a slave here. Until now... hope to get the photos from my trip to Hua Hin last week later this evening.. if I'm not too lazy. Another day in this mad city. :D

  5. Show interest in the other person's life. People love it when other people are interested in them. Be confident even if you don't fell confident and over time I'm sure you will make some friends.

I totally agree with you. Ask people questions about their lifes, jobs, interests, etc. But not "too" personal. I think most men love talking about their jobs. Not certain if I am right though. I used to date this one guy, when I asked him about his work, he always talked non-stop. He loved talking about it much more than talking about a weekend out of town with me. :o

Anyway, I really have to say this, but without your last sentence, orasa, your post would sound like a personal ad.

  6. Here's a dilemma for you....

With all your honor and dignity what would you do? This test only has one question, but it's a very important one.

Please don't answer it without giving it some serious thought. By giving an honest answer you will be able to test where you stand morally.

The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you will have to make a decision one way or the other.

Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.

Please scroll down slowly and consider each line - this is important for the test to work accurately.

You're in Florida...In Miami, to be exact... There is great chaos going on around you, caused by a hurricane and severe floods. There are huge masses of water all over you. You are a CNN photographer and you are in the middle of this great disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless.

You're trying to shoot very impressive photos. There are houses and people floating around you, disappearing into the water. Nature is showing all its destroying power and is ripping everything away with it.

Suddenly you see a man in the water, he is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken away by the masses of water and mud. You move closer. Somehow the man looks familiar.

Suddenly you know who it is - it's George W. Bush!

At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him away, forever. You have two options. You can save him or you can take the best photo of your life. So you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a Pulitzer prize winning photo, a unique photo displaying the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

And here's the question (please give an honest answer):

Would you select color film, or rather go with the simplicity of classic black and white ?

  7. A husband and wife were celebrating their 50th anniversary.

That night the wife approached her husband wearing the exact same sexy negligee she had worn on their wedding night.

She looked at her husband and said, "Honey, do you remember this?"

He looked up at her and said, "Yes dear, I do. You wore that same negligee the night we were married."

She said, "That's right. Do you remember what you said to me that night?"

He nodded and said, "Yes dear, I still remember."

"Well, what was it?" she asked.

He responded, "As I remember, I said, 'Oh baby, I'm going to suck the life out of those big boobs and screw your brains out.' "

She giggled and said, "Yes honey, that's exactly what you said. So, now it's 50 years later, and I'm in the same negligee I wore that night. What do you have to say tonight?"

Again he looked up at her, and he replied, "Mission accomplished."

  8. This is really interesting. Actually, I think it is not a bad deal at all. The bride's family is not paying a single baht anyway. I would pay my darling 50 THB to get down on his knee though.. :o

Pretty curious on five-star hotel for 200,000 THB... wonder where it is... or if it really is a five-star hotel? :D

  10. It surprises me to see lots of farang guys falling in love, have heart broken or invest their money with the Thai bar girls. But when asked if they do this with the BGs in their countries, they said No! :D

That's something I have never figured it out. :D

Well, regarding the original post, I'd like to say beer garden is not really a right place to meet your "special someone". I've met an English guy at Hard Rock Cafe back in Dec 2002. We had dated for a while before he went back to Tokyo, so we are not an item yet. Now, moving back to Bangkok soon, he is still asking if I will be faithful to him. :o

Also, meeting the parents is a big deal here too. I had gone out with my ex-boyfriend, a Viking, for 6 months but never officially introduced him to my family. Just told my mum I was seeing this guy... until we broke up... :D

So, it has been a couple of months only. Maybe you want to take it one step at a time and make sure you always keep your eyes open... just in case. I hope things will turn out great and you will make another successful story. I've never had enough of those good stories. :D
