The season is turning into a nightmare smokie
It could all go so wrong for any 4 of the top 5 clubs. I'm enjoying the adrenaline rush. Roll on the weekend!
No wait make that all 5. We can still catch the Arse and finish third.

Probably the UK can't afford it due to the tax rates being much lower than in Thailand.

The answer to 3 is a resounding yes and no. Yes he has been playing like he did on Saturday and no you will not be able to (afford to) hang onto him. Most impressive EPL player (possibly barring Rooney) this year. Left-footed as well. Worth at least £25m if there are no hidden medical/physical issues). Man U need him but I'm not sure they have the money.
Guess we could trade him to Man U for Berbatov +£10mil. What a turn of events that would be but what really impressed me Saturday was his buccaneering spirit. Absolutely didn't care who was in front him and was even taking players on 2 at a time and should have picked up a penalty plus he could have had a hat trick with a bit of luck but no he needs to stay where he is. Shame he's not English eh?
They give us 30m for Berb
so like i said that makes Bale worth 50m pounds.
Berbatov and 10m no no no, Berb is only worth about 30 bob, so that's Berb and 49,999,998.50 pounds
I like this idea. Lets buy him and stick him on the bench at reserve games where he belongs!

If you decide to fly to Surat Thani there is a bus service from the airport to Donsak taking a little over an hour.

I've just watched the first half against Liverpool and in my opinion if you play like that against Wigan you will get hammered and deserve to get relegated. 1st Division football I'm afraid.
Maybe Zola will turn it around in the second half but I couldn't bear to watch another 45mins of tripe.

No, reserved for the penniless in farang countries.
At 320 Baht for Virginia / Drum it is not that cheap here compared to a pack of ciggies.
Plenty of tobacco on sale here. Sometimes not quite what you would expect but Vanilla, Cherry and other flavours are also available at around 120 Baht in some alcohol shops.
Not seen liquorice papers here but plenty of Rizla that are better quality than other papers and do not burn away so fast.
Bangkok, Pattaya have Virginia and Drum or Samson as I suppose other places have too. One place in Bangkok will supply a box a time of Virginia. Google and Ye shall find
The trouble with Golden Virginia is its poor quality compared to in the UK. As you say its not cheap either.

Is it me, or does the stink of sewerage seem to be getting worse down Chaweng Beach Road???
Gets worse every year. Hope you're feeling better soon!
-
So all agreed the place opens sometime, early in the morning!!!!!
Maybe its now open all night so the poor farangs who've been robbed can go straight out and buy a replacement TV. Very convenient.

After reading the topic title I thought it was about the drainage in Chaweng. Not too far off though!
Good luck to the OP.

just cos I dont like to talk about losing does not mean I stop supporting the team when we are losing or when we are not getting any trophies
and certainly isnt a good game tonight...... leading by 2 nil for most of the game, and now at 91st minute we are 3:2 down.......
and now the whistle...score unchanged at 94th minute
Truly awful Arsenal. Only watched the second half. Midfield asleep and repeatedly being caught on the ball lazily waiting for balls to reach them. Eventually Wigan realised we can take this shower - well played.
I hope Wenger doesn't think he can rely on people getting fit again in the close season - there's some real surgery needed - Bendtner, Rosicky, probably Diaby - have to go and we need a goalkeeper (obviously) a first class central defender and a first rate target striker. If Wenger shows loyalty to his squad and dosen't do some pruning I don't think he will last the season. He should also take any really good offers if any for Walcott and Nasri (the latter is probably controversial, but I think he only has one good game in three which is not quite good enough at this level). I would not of course expect Wenger (nor any sane manager) to do all of that but 75% of it should be plausible
If you guys from Man U and Chelsea think you can woop about disloyalty in the Arsenal thread camp and don't think you need major summer surgery neither of you are going to regain Europe-beating status either.
Perhaps I should sleep on it - but I have had such thougts for much of the second half of the season even when we were having a good run of beating poor oppositions
Your team seem to have become a wee bit messi of late.

I've only been to Bangkok once in April/May. Pleasant in the morning too hot by midday and then when the rain arrives in the afternoon flooded out.
Never again thanks.
-
Worst case? We've finally run out of oil. The ash is a smokescreen.
-
Just joking of course...
But you told me you are ex Special Forces....
-
I laughed my socks off when I saw Vieira coming on. Less than half the player he was..much less even.
Maybe he'll be off along with his manager in the summer.
-
just hope the Yids do us a favour next weekend and beat the Mancs!
Under normal circumstances I would totally agree
What if United were to beat us and go on to win the league. Tough choice for you Mr B-J....
Anyway we'll be looking to nick at least a point as I don't believe they are as strong as previous seasons.
-
Now we've shown you how its done how many goals are you lot gonna score against the scousers?
-
^Hope everything works out OK for you Big C.
-
Speechless unexpected and happy!

Might join you later....

The air fares are too expensive from BKK to Samui, it's almost the same fare as BKK-Hong Kong flight and with those international flight, ou have your own tv screen on each seat with meal and it's 3 hours flight.
Why it has to be so expensive?
Why Air Asia can do cheaper in the international flight and BKK Airways and Air Asia have the same plane quality.
Why you are so greedy????
I am Thai and have to go there twice a month to Samui, it's so high cost to me.
Could you please answer this, if you could have read my comments..
You answered your own question. Monopoly=Greed. Until there is fair competition on this route nothing will change unfortunately.

to be honest, this happens worldwide, not only in thailand.
if you put a sausage outside your door, the dog will eat it.
no way the ants or birds would be there first
I left my mate's dog some breakfast on the balcony of his house in Trinidad. A couple of minutes later I hear him yelping and find him cowering in a corner while a few birds are feasting on his grub and a couple give him a malevolent stare. An easy mugging.
He's not such a big fan of alfresco dining these days.
Sorry I can't remember if it was sausages tho.

After the debacle of last summer trying to organize a party I suggest getting a local place to just have drink specials or BBQ for TV members and let everyone know about it via the forum. If they want to come or not it's up to them. Do not try to over organize the thing. That's what killed it last year. Just get the first one under the belt, hopefully it will build interest, you'll learn something that will help make planning the second one bigger and better.
Don't worry koheesti I remember.

I just hope it is as exciting as the last few games.
With both sides needing all 3 points it should be a cracker. Normally I would hope to see the best team win but...
Spirit Shops In Chaweng ?
in Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao
Posted
I rarely touch spirits nowadays but occasionally I bring over a bottle of Islay malt from duty free at Heathrow.
Don't rate any of the imported stuff in Thailand way overpriced rubbish imo.
However I guess Tesco or maybe Wine Connection would be a decent place to look close to Chaweng.
