  1. While everybody is throwing suggestions around...There is actually a place just near Pharam 9 Hospital - About 10-15 minutes walk from Rama 9 MRT.

It is a bit run down as far as facilities goes and really looks pretty shabby - The upside is it is 400 Baht per hour (starting price)

It is about the same size as Arena 10 - But like i said pretty shabby.... But very cheap!

Also... has anyone been to or heard about the Japan Youth Centre...or something like that... I have heard that the facilities there are awesome... and very cheap... I cannot find to much info about it online... around Dindang i think.. Not even sure if there are pitches there but Bangkok Untited or some team like that trains there so i assume there are some.....

Trying to cancel my Sunday evening call with US... I think my internet is due to go down that night ;-) So hopefully i will be able to make it for a late game.

    Cheers

  2. I am in Sukhumvit and would prefer to play over here somewhere obviously... BUT... As long as i don't have to sit in a taxi for an hour I really don't mind. Is the place Simon and Kelvin mentioned further away from Sukhumvit (lets just say Asoke BTS for a starting point) than X-Park? If so... how far.. It looks pretty nice.. Has anybody called to check availability before we start a discussion etc etc Same for Arsenal or all options... <div>Keen for Sunday where-ever we play..</div><div><br></div><div>Cheers</div><div><br></div><div>J</div>

  3. Can't sign or play any instrument, but

if need any fans who just sit at the bar listening and drinking lager :) PM me

Sounds like you could be manager ;-)... i do like your style though.. and will join you at said bar!

  4. Things are definitely unstable here; you can't rely on the transportation services because of various terrorist activities; furthermore they have apparently made the BTS stations a focus of their terrorist activities. I would stay away from any stations within 3 stations of the central hub as much as possible, especially at night. Staying away from any of the recent points of conflict is a no-brainer, though I am aware that some silly foreigners have become 'riot tourists.'

Anyone who is relying on travel insurance should check their policies VERY carefully to see in the fine print if having their country issue certain levels of warnings invalidates the insurance or not.

In general, it's not a time when anyone should be travelling to or within Thailand without a reason much better than tourism- and even if you're coming to Thailand, stay out of Bangkok and Chiang Mai as much as possible.

The only post you should be taking notice of...
