Although an obvious April Fool's Day joke it does highlight the incessant noise that pervades throughout Phuket by sound trucks, in the markets, shopping centres etc & certainly goes against the grain of a nice peaceful relaxing atmosphere. It shows a genuine lack of creativity as surely there are much more subtle but powerful methods to entice customers.
