Hi What is the cost of non inverter unit...? I think the cost difference between the 2 units is what you want to compare. The benefit of the inverter is that the unit doesn't shut on and off like a typical AC unit. The fan/compressor adjusts speed up and down depending on the cooling demand and therefore uses less energy when its not needed and doesn't suffer from abrupt starts and stops of the compressor each cooling cycle. If the inverter unit only costs about B3000/100 usd more vs. the non inverter I would think its an easy choice to spend the small amount to realize savings on your electric bill.....just my .02 worth mac
