    another weird move by this temporary PM ! first he wants the 'entertainment business' to reach a higher level, now he wants to legitimize Poker. what's it going to be next week: another Thaksin-wish?

    as i drove my daughter to school this morning we were passed by a songteaw loaded w young monks, all playing on their phones... and yesterday in the mall at a phoneshop 3 senior monks purchasing the latest I-phone! they're not supposed to do this, right?

    why is that number so high? main reason: they don't know how to swim!!! you can hand out lifejackets, arrange all kinds of safety-measures, but main issue is that not many Thai can swim! this goes on for many years, no promotion for swimclasses, no swim tournements, no swimclubs...

    this is what you get when you keep on building and don't grow infrastructure along the way. it's all short-term-thinking. on Samui same story, sewersystems not adequate. in summer people can not spray water in their gardens...

    sorry guy, it's not the alcohol, it's the lack of control! if you have a couple drinks and then stop, then nothing will happen and you've enjoyed yr drinks! when it's an overload of booze, no wonder problems march in! same with many other things! control is da best!
