  1. Hi All,

A friend (yes a friend) is starting to think he may need a Private investigator to check up on his girl friend. I am of the opinion if he thinks he needs a PI, he already knows the answer, but he has a lot of emotion and some Bath invested in this girl. He goes to Thailand about every 2 months to meet with her for a week to ten days.

Have any of you used a PI to check out a girlfriend? What was your experience with the PI. Was it expensive?

    Have a Happy…

    DeDanan

dont use a PI mate, i'll go and bone her for free... Where does she live? :o

  2. Thailand promoting itself as the Detroit of Asia

WHEN was the last time you saw a car built in Thailand running on a road in Australia? I suspect that many of you have answered that you have never seen one.

You don't know how wrong you are, because last year close to 60,000 Thai vehicles were sold in Australia, with even more expected this year. That's right, 60,000 vehicles a year are coming from Thailand to Oz.

After a fascinating visit to the Bangkok Motor Show a few weeks ago, I spent some time talking to experts on the fast-growing automotive industry in one of our neighbours to the north.

Thailand is promoting itself as the Detroit of Asia and has major plans to further expand in the next few years.

Thailand is much more than a vehicle assembler. Many of the vehicle parts are manufactured there, including major body pressings.

Utes are currently the big thing in Thailand, with most of the major players on the Australian market importing products from there. Toyota, Holden, Ford and Mitsubishi all bring in utes, as does Mazda. Nissan sourced its Navaras from there for a while, though its currently bringing them in from Japan.

It's not just utes, though. Holden Zafira is built in Thailand, as are some Honda Accord and Civic models.

Quality is generally as high as that of vehicles built in other countries, with the Japanese makers keeping a tight reign on quality control.

Australian engineering expertise has been used by the Thai vehicle industry in many important areas. This is happening either by an exchange of engineers between auto makers in the two countries, or by enterprising Aussies working on a freelance basis.

No prestige makes are imported to Australia from Thailand at this stage and that's likely to be the case for some time to come. However, such major players as BMW and Mercedes-Benz do have Thai-built cars.

Altogether a fascinating exercise and one that shows what can be done when an under-developed country makes a positive decision to become one of the major players on the world's industrial scene.

  3. hard to see the victim bit..

I suppose this compensated dating is what the freelancers that hang around in nana carpark convince themselves their doing.. Coz for some reason they refuse to belive they are hoez, mebbe just think there on a different date every night :o

  4. This is another farce to add to the list, so why didn't they invite more chauffer's to gamble then?

Gambling appears to part and parcel of everyday life in the Kingdom as life is short of any creture comfort's.

It may be gambling, it may be drinking or just plain tom foolery on motorcycles, in my opinion it will never stop...

Thaimee. [Can't you buy Cards in 7-eleven for say 200-300 baht anyway's?] :o

it sez on the packet your only allowed to play snap with em though. :D

  5. I met my wife in the usual circumstances...a bar and etc. We had a good time together and I sized her up for what I wanted for a mate...intelligent, good looking and remarkably resourceful. She came out to join me in the UAE after I arranged her visa and we settled in. She then became violently ill with gastritis after a couple of weeks...I recognized the symptoms from descriptions of others. She couldn't hold any food or fluids down.

I needed to see if her bowel function was OK so she shat in my hands so I could check for blood. She remained seriously ill and I became aware that she might be dehydrating. I called the hospital and a doctor came around with an ambulance and confirmed my diagnosis...severe dehydration and a gastro-intestinal virus...

We went to the hospital and she was wheeled into a room under a sheet with one small claw extended. I sat next to her bed and wept...my responsibility to guarantee a good life with me and I failed to protect her.

So don't tell me nothing about falangs and whores...I've been happily married now for 4 years. As the old song goes...'I'm getting awfully mad...you better move on...'

surely holding a siv under her ass would have been easier and a lot less sticky :o

  6. not sure wether anyones posted this already? But theres one surefire way..

If she starts asking for money every 5 minutes and disappears to work every night! :o

Another good way... Its maybe easy enuf for her to dress/act like a student but all her friends arent going to be so bothered about giving you a good impression, ask to go out for a few drinks with them and you'll soon know...
