    Hi,

    i need some help with renewing my 5 year licence. i tried searching info, but didn't find answer for some of my questions.

    I have a 5 year thai licence, which expire in 2 month.

    - when is the earliest i can renew it? im going to travel and i would like to renew it before, can i renew before expiration date?

    - also before i was living in BKK and was always went to Chatuchak land and transport dep. but now i live in Nonthaburi

    Can i still go to Chatuchack to renew, or i have to go to Nonthaburi land and transp on tiwanon? or can renew on both locations??

    - I have yellow tabien bahn, can I use it as address proof? any experience somebody please at nonthaburi office? or chatuchak?

    im about to go to my usual place to do border run at Had Lek/Koh Kong , i go on my own, in the past i never had problem

    I have Non o multi entry, thai wife....

    is anybody been there recently? any problem? (I asking because of the recent tightening of out ,in rules...)

    do they ask now for money to show? or just with tourist visas?

    Why no factory warranty on 1-2 years old cars sold in car shops in Thailand?

    Hi all,

    Im just curious, most big car companies like Mitsubishi, toyota, honda, all offer 3 years warranty on new cars.

    therefore I assumed if i find a nice second hand Mitsubishi pajero made in 2013-2014, will have at least 1-2 years warranty left from Mitsubishi thailand.

    i called up at least 4-5 second hand car shops, all advertising nearly new pajeros. but when i asked about factory warranty, they all said: no have sir...

    so why not have? is anybody have any experience with this?

    Is border crossings open on public holidays? like songkran?

    Hi,

    I planning to spend the songkran at koh-chang island.

    and if i already go there i would do my 90days run as well

    my question is does the border crossing at Ban Hat Lek / Koh Kong open as usual on 13th Sunday morning, which is sunday as well as songran day.

    also what time is it open in the morning? I usually go very early like maybe be there at 8-9 am

    Hi everybody,

    I have non-o multiple visa, live in BKK i plan to drive to Koh Chang for a few days holiday just before my 90 days expire so i thought if im already there not far from Had Lek border point, i could make my leave and entry again to Thailand to get my next 90 days

    but Its gonna be my first border run, i never did this before, i read many relevant info here on the forum, but if anybody could assure me that its indeed as i imagine it is:

    - so can I just drive there to Had Lek, leave my car there somewhere in a carpark

    - walk through the thai border point,

    - get a cambodian visa on arrival, pay the 20 usd

    - enter cambodia

    - then walk back , and enter Thailand again?

    is there any limitation?

    like i have to spend at least 1 hour or 1 day in cambodia before return to Thailand, or i can just walk back as soon as I left?

    (also what if I leave Thailand but not buy cambodian visa and not enter Cambodia, just after leave Thailand go back immetiately , is that be a problem? or I must enter Cambodia first then return to Thailand?)

    sorry for the many question and I hope its not confusing, I just never did this before and want to be sure it will go smooth

    I've had a problem with eBay searches too. Sometimes I seem to be viewing via the Singapore site or the US site or the Thai site. Even to edit my own listings I sometimes have to close the window and reopen or I get a message saying "that facility is not currently available."

    But when it comes to searches, when you open a search window, on the left-hand side if you scroll down a bit there's a choice of locations. Choose WORLDWIDE and that seems to bring up the maximum number of items.

    And you'll probably have to check that box whenever you search (unless there's a way to save it in preferences ... I haven't tried that yet).

    Thank you for the feedback. unfortunately ebay even blocking this location search on the ebay.com page if you search from Thailand, only available to choose on the left side, if i use ebay .com my ip address blocked.

    also eBay sent me new message yesterday, finally they admitting that they are messed it up and they working on it now, im just a bit puzzled why it take so long... nearly 3 weeks by now... maybe they not intend to fix the issue...

    here is a sample to prove ebay is a liar.

    if you search for natsuo kirino using thai ip address, only 1 book shows up.

    however here is an item number search for it: 310622007863

    you will see this item is available to ship to Thailand but still, it not show up in search result, just if you search specifically by its item number

    also i wrote to ebay again yeterday confronted them with the block, in they answer the surprisingly admit blocking thai buyers:

    I believe its due to sellers postage location settings.

    If sellers chose NOT to post to Thailand, it will not appear in your search results when you doing search from Thailand

    i thought of this too, but when i go up using usa ip, and find items what not appear using thai ip, most of them ship to thailand so no problem with that, i was even able to buy the item with the thai ip after i had its item number and was able to see the item page

    I just checked your author, and only found 1 listing. However, there were 90 listings for Tolkien and 409 for Dickens, so it's hard to tell what's going on. I use TOT up in Isaan.

    i tested what you said using usa ip, tolkien you said 90 listings, very small number, it has more than 7500 listing on ebay.com

    check your self go through www.anonymouse.org fro ebay.com so your ip will be masked, and all 7500 listings appear for tolkien

    Im a long time ebay buyer, mostly buy my books on ebay.

    about 3 weeks ago i noticed a very weird thing, the listings what was there before are 99% gone.

    let me make it clear and simple. I usually search books, lets make an example, Natsuo Kirino one of my favorite writer

    a few weeks ago if i wrote down her name on ebay.com it has about 70-100 result

    however one day to the next all listings are gone, if I write down her name on ebay.com today have only 1 result.

    (and its true to all other items and writers 99% of listings gone)

    i wrote to ebay, they replied the usual bullshit, they said they tested it and its true have only 1 result, but its not up to them as its depend on sellers when they list new items etc... bullshit.... all listings cant dissapear in 1 night

    so i investigated further, i went through a vpn server, so my ip address was like im in the USA.

    i searched again, and see the magic: 75 listings come up for Natsuo Kirino

    (tested for everything else, every item is there)

    IS EBAY BLOCKING THAI BUYERS? why would they do that? or they just blocking me?

    the weird thing is, i tried all my computers and my gf-s, all computers if use thai ip address, no listings...

    (but when go through vpn and use usa ip address, all listings there)

    also I tried on my mobile phone, interestingly on my mobile phone the 75 listings also there even though my ip is thai on mobile too.

    so anybody have any idea what is going on?

    and can you make a test please if you write down Natsuo Kirino how many results you get? only one or about 75?

    Non O Multiple Visa, 60 Days Extension, Is It Possible?

    Hello,

    I have a Non o multiple entry visa, i married to Thai, I know i can extend for 1 year, but i dont have 400k in bank now, neither salary 40k, but i red somewhere that i may can extend it by 60 days at immigration office.

    is it possible? my 90 days will expire beginning of March (my visa still valid until June) but im lazy leave country now, so my question is is it possible to go to immigration when my 90 days expire in March and get a 60 days extension for 1900 baht? (even thought my visa is still valid until june, or i can only get 60 days extension if my visa is expire? im a bit confused)
