  1. tutsi: I guess....!?! whatever u say buddy.

The som tham isn't wicked enough if you don't use "bah lah" instead of "nam blah". Now that is want u call wicked. Plus all of the peppers u can handle...boy...good s@!t

So, I certainly don't know where u are eating them, oops i forgot. But my farang friends here never complained of the way i make it. And trust me, its straight up "isan" style.

  2. Well, im sure glad i can cook my own Thai cuisine without going to a nice Thai resturants here in the States. But i would love to try the vendor carts on the streets of Thailand one day. Especially, som tham, if it doesnt turn out as good as the way i make it, i might have to go behind the cart and start "thamming" away...LOL :o

  3. These are the facts about yeast infections:

Yeast infections -- sometimes called candidiasis -- takes many forms. Yeast fungus infections often develop where a moist environment encourages fungal growth, especially on the webs of fingers and toes, nails, genitals, and folds of skin.

Candida albicans is a fungal organism, or yeast, that thrives in your mouth, gastrointestinal tract, and skin; your body produces bacteria that keep it in check. When fungal growth exceeds the body's ability to control it, yeast infection develops.

So basically, she must of gotten it from her man himself. He could have been unclean and gave her some bacteria. Or, she must have not cleaned herself too good which then she gave herself the bacterias. No need to worry, its curable.

  4. Hey Zen.

I somehow stopped into this site by mistake while i was surfing the net with info of Thailand. I read things people have posted and it sound really interesting to me. So i joined. Just at times when im bored at work then il be on. Dont have the time at home too.

So then, il just welcome myself here LOL :o

  5. I love guys and like girls...i guess u can call me "BI". But the liking girls part is more of a crush. yeah, I'll be checking out the females, i still do. Yes, been with girls, but prefer guys. But havent been with a female for about 2 years now. Why? I felt the years that l was into females, was like a stage. I called myself "bi-curious". After i knew what it was like, my curiousity was gone. But dont get me wrong, i still check girls out, but dont have the urge to do anything with them. I was in a stage and apparently grew out of it as i got older. Maybe thats why people call themselves straight then bi then gay, or maybe the other way around. Cause those people like myself, is going or went through a stage.

  6. LADIES...SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT "BEFORE" HAVING KIDS W/ YOUR MATE...:o and you thought MEN were bad

    1. You spend the first two years of their life teaching your kids to walk and talk. Then you spend the next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.

    2. Grandchildren are God's reward for not killing your own children.

    3. Mothers of teens now know why some animals eat their young.

    4. Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.

    5. The main purpose of holding children's parties is to remind yourself that there are children more awful than your own.

    6. We childproofed our homes, but they are still getting in.

ADVICE FOR THE DAY: Be nice to your kids. They will

choose your nursing home one day.

AND FINALLY: IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF TENSION AND YOU GET A HEADACHE, DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE ASPIRIN BOTTLE:

"TAKE TWO ASPIRIN" AND "KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN"

  7. Man, i would love to be in Thailand for Songkhran. Here in Chicao, its way to cold to be throwing water at eachother. But down south a little is so much fun. Going to the temple and to a state that is really hot and literally get thrown in the river or lake. I guess its different, i guess it seems old for people that is in Thailand and go through it every year.

    HAPPY SONGKHRAN!!! :o

  8. I would love to have a man cook for me :o

    Easy Pasta Salad:

    1 box spiral pasta (cooked)

    1 tomato (sliced or chopped)

    1 onion (sliced or chopped)

1 green pepper (sliced or chopped)

1-2 bottles of zesty italian dressing

    salt (your preference)

In a large bowl, mix pasta, tomatoes, onions, green pepper, dressing (as much as u want) and salt (to your satisfaction)

There u have pasta salad, very easy. Just mixing and tasting til its right for u. :D

  9. I myself cant say that i understand and know how it feels to be called farang. But i think that if people mis-use the word and it starts sounding a little disrespectful, then it is wrong. But the person who is being called "farang" is the one to say, if u mind or not. Let that person know that u would rather be called something else. You are the one who is holding the cards, let it be known what u want to hear and not hear.

    :o

  10. Thanks for the info and advice. Finally i heard from some females here.

adjan_jb: what i meant from "big cultural country" is that, i assume Thailand is very traditional and cultural. Even though i live in the states but Thai is my culture. And i was raised with certain rules and tradition. Such as, it isn't beautiful and nice for a lady to smoke, but if a man was to it would be ok. Til this day, i still hear the same rules since i could understand. So in that case, i figure Thailand would be more strict with the culture...i hope i was able to explain what i meant.

Jeepz & Candyflip: I'm the same way. I DO NOT smoke in front of my family. I do mainly smoke at work. Not because im stress or anything, just something for me to do on my break. But i love smoking for sure when im out partying and clubbing.

Most bars and pubs here in Chicago are banning smoking. Which I think is a good idea. I would never smoke before, during, or after i eat, and would not like to sit next to people that smokes while im eating. So that I dont mind.

  11. Man u people are harsh. I am a young adult, and no i do not live in a "Dream World". I'm in the real world as i could be. Just doing my thing to live day after day. Supporting myself and my family that i have.

I see that you, Kringle, have some growing up to do if you are going to judge me by my avitar pic. It's just a cute pic to use rather than a real pic of yourself. Who would be dumb enough or childish enough to use their real pic?

I'm a smoker, so what, right? It's just that i respect what people have to say to me or about me. If you dont like my smoking, then i respect that and wont smoke in front of you. All i needed to know is what to expect from a big cultural country like Thailand.

And my goodness, I'm not trying to get a job there. Just wanted a vacation. :o

  12. Thanks Matt...see now that sucks. When i do go to Thailand, i will feel that im obligated not to smoke. Or feel like i have to sneak around. But then again, i have this attitude that where i just dont give...so why should i when im there. right?

WOW your company hires mainly smoker? Il be hired in a jip LOL :o

Now, does your company actually have female smokers? If you arent hired cause you're female and smokes, isnt that discrimination? Even to those who dont smoke...anyways thats a whole different subject.

But i would love to have a 10:30 tea & smoke break. But here at my work, more than half of the ladies smoke...its no biggy at all.

  13. I do not live in Thailand, but one day would love to visit. But I'm a smoker. I know there has to be other females there that smokes, Thai or farang women. But being Asian and a smoker, you're always critized, even in the big US. People would always have something to say to you.

To all the Women there, is it like that in Thailand too? Do you girls also get crap from people or looked at differently for smoking?

To all the Men, do you prefer a non-smoking lady, or just really don't mind? Even if you don't mind, would u still look at a lady and think, why does she have to smoke?

I'm not thinking of quitting yet til I want to and ready to. But I hate people judging me. And I assume people in Thailand might be a little more critical. And I don't need to be critized while I'm there.

  14. :o thanks lovely.

tutsi : it would be nice to have a farang niece jus the way u described. she sounds so cute. but sorry she dont have freckles with ginger hair and a norweigian upward nose. sorry to say, we are asian and live in the states, which makes it harder to info on our fav stars in Thailand. :D

LOL bluecat: he probably does hehehe

  15. I've recently seen a movie (lakorn), "Mair-Eye-Seune", and the main guy, Verapat (i think thats how u spell it) just seems familar. I know I have seen 2 previous movies with him in it.

Just wanna know if anyone has any info or know any site i can go to, to get info and pics of him. My lil niece has this lil puppy crush on him. :o

And she would be just happy to get like a poster to hang in her room.
