  1. There’s a difference between being a dumb-ass and being discrete.

That’s why god invented the massage parlor.

There’s a place in Pattaya called TQ. The doors open at 2:00pm and no women are allowed (except those who work there) until past 8:00pm.

At 7:30 the second shift begins. I love the day shift girls. :o

  2. Monty,

One of the key things with regard to satellite is fragmentation in addition to delay.

There are two key registry settings that might assist in this regard.

    EnablePMTUDiscovery is a good one

    Enable PMTUBHDetect doesn't hurt.

Both can be found with a search at http://www.microsoft.com/support

I've been able to run VPN tunnels out of China, outlook and all, by applying these mods.

XP and Windows 2000 are diffent in where these DWORD setting are set.

  3. I thought I was going insane, but my threads have dissapeared.

Are the Admins not happy with what I have to say?

I didn't think I said anythng too bad? Just pointing our other's obvious ridiculousness by a little of my own. Is that so bad?

Please advise, what specifically I am allowed or not allow to say?

Was it the "hoo-hoo dilly" bit?

    Was it about TV sanitization?

PM me rather than just delete me. It's all just too big-brother for me.

PS: Tie me up and call me Peggy.

  4. I was once given the same schpiel by a Thai airlines check in girl, having the last half of a return ticket to the States for my wife and I.

I smiled (don't forget to smile) and asked for her manager who looked down at me over her snooty nose. She's was the opposite of that lovely cardboard girl they usually have around.

Anyhow, the short of it is that it is not up to the airlines to enforce the immigration laws, and you can tell them that. Immigration however may require a proof of a return trip, which it seems that you can show. Immigration will prevent you from taking her if they have a suspicion that you intend to "sell your girlfriend" overseas. It's not an uncommon thing to do.

My wife and I had travelled several times to the States prior and it was a total non issue with immigration.

    XXOO,

    PS: I didn't sell her.

  5. That mountain of mini's is called Ai-e; and it's not-half bad depending on what you're looking for and how long you can pretend you actually like Karaoke.

The CEC is off Huay Keaw; but I have no idea what's inside.

    Perhaps, I'll spock it out...

  6. This might be hard for you, but don't be an idiot.

    List of don'ts:

Never take your wife where you intend to meat girls.

Never take your wife where you've meated girls.

Never bring a bar girl home or tell her where you live (neighbors do tell).

Don't prowel the bar beers along the foot path between town and home.

Don't lie to a bar girl and tell her you love her and want to marry her.

Don't come home from "the gym" smelling like another girl's sabu.

Never pretend to yourself that you know more about what's going on than your wife or prospective ST.

Any or all of the above will have the mia Thai lose face and you your John Thomas.

    List of Do's:

    Be discrete.

    Use the back room.

Tell the Bar girl you're married.

Remember why you married your wife.

    The rules are simple man-pig.

    Enjoy,

  7. Welcome back Lamby.

Now be a good lamb try to keep your nose clean; and what ever you do, don't make idle claims about who shaves their "hoo hoo dilly." :o

Get back to posting about jiengmai and ignore political wolves. It'll do you good.

Lovin', livin', learnin' on the TV.

  8. Let me just ask a stupid question.

Is it possible to have a bear pit without contentious threads. Is it not the entire purpose of the bear pit to have a place to gnash teeth, snarl, etc.?

Or is there a deeper agenda. Perhaps an explanation is due?

  9. Hooray for the Chiang Mai forum!

    We're the best!

BTW, Lamby Baby, Today I went to Arusan (SP?) market just off the Night Baazar on the left heading down Chang Klang. First seafood restaurant in site is a winner.

Ate with the wife and krop kruah.

    Lots to see there.

Don't let the Dr. get you down.

Remember an apple a day! Get your fuji's at gat luang!

BTW: Has he even apologized yet?

    Lip up!

  10. Initial examination revealed no evidence of foul play and police estimate that the foreigner had been dead for at least 2-3 days.

    Another one? :o

    Exactly!

This thread should really be titled "Yet another farang kicks in Pattaya."

It's much more exciting when they go into details, or better yet show the bodies on TV.

    Is that morbid of me?

  11. This is some really sad stuff. :D

Sad, because we know the issues, and the majority doesn't care and would rather torch their toxic plastic bottles than... :o woops, this is Thailand.

AT LAST, there has been a ban put on burnings; but will this law be promulgated effectively?

In the last month alone, I saw virtual brush fires along the Super Highway. Huge black swaths of land now lay under a sky has turned from blue to a matrix-like canopy of greenish brown.

I think it is common knowledge that the dry season is hazy and that Doi Suthep dissapears in Feb. We all will welcome the rains. Without referring to the newspaper: Several work-mates are ill, esp. Thai's who've moved from out of the region. I'd always thought it was becasue they were kii now; but perhaps they are just as "allergic" to pollution as the rest of the world. We all are up to a point. And then, we get cancer. Some are simply more susceptible than others esp. the kids.

Let's face it, a lot of Asia is polluted. The question might not be "Is it getting worse?" but more so "What can we do to help make it better?" You might call me a tree-hugging pig, but I'm saddened by devestating affect the pollution has on the trees along the tree road. Does anyone have news on the recent trimming? (By the way, AjaanJB, the air is just as bad in Saraphi (it's region wide); but welcome to the neighborhood nonetheless. At least what you'll be burning will smell much sweeter.)

Recently, I got wind of a plan to build a recycling plant in the region to battle this scourge. Any one got word of it? I personally would invest in such a project it's worthwhile for all of us.

  12. In drunken discussion under a lean-to with well known admin last night, I unveiled a pessemistic theory that several members create new avatars for themselves to further their own initiatives.

I was not contradicted; we were both fairly sauced; we retired to our loved ones.
