He is the first person in more than a generation running for president who cares about US citizens.

Almost 30 years ago in Chiang Rai, I remember seeing the same type of restaurant in the middle of the day offering services for 60, 80, and 100 baht depending on the "waitress" selected.

Except that you couldn't take them home.

And there was no food being served.

Many years ago I arrived from Taipei about 2 am at Don Meuang. I wanted to get to Pattaya as soon as possible.

I negotiated a taxi fare of 800 baht and within 5 minutes of entering the taxi, the driver was starting to nod off, repeatedly slapping his own face.

In those days it was more than a 3 hour drive through Chonburi even in the middle of the night.

I took out my dictionary and tried in my best Thai to explain that I could drive if he was tired.

Almost immediately, he pulled over and let me drive his taxi.

He fully reclined the passenger seat and was asleep within 3 minutes of me taking over the wheel and he slept soundly all the way to my hotel.

The driver still made me pay full fare and he did not give me a tip.

The best way for me is to look at my naked body in the mirror every day.

If I can live with what I see knowing the consequences of visceral fat and joint wear and tear above and beyond the aesthetic point of view, I will eat more calories.

If not, I go out and try to burn a few more calories.

This guy is harmless and I am sure he appreciates all the free media coverage.

And Israel has no plans to stay in the Golan Heights.

My crystal ball sees drama.

Regretting now that I paid 500K for 5 years elite option.

The 20 year at 1 Million baht option includes everything except for the limo ride to and from the airport, which I could do without.

I leave tips now to the AOT driver and baggage handler that amount to more than my taxi fare to the airport.

I will probably inquire to see if they will allow me to pay another 500K to switch to the 1 million 20 year option.
