If my village is anything to go by, the most affected seem to be young males and older women.

M,y experience with some sellers on Lazada is that with technical goods they often don't seem to understand what they are selling.,

Make a court order to stay away from the family, award the family a reasonable maintenance fee, and for this fee to be deducted at source from his army pay.

I wonder how many posters on this forum could live in Thailand
on that wage? This is my effort to show all of you the reality
of minimum wage. you are welcome.
Yet they manage two bottles of Chang every day, plus a lottery ticket.

Does a child know the difference between naughty and wicked, it is like the debate over age of consent, it depends not
on the physical age but the emotional and intekkectual age. A this varies between individuals the Law has to establish a sensible break point.
As a parent and retired teacher I would suggest the age of eight.

Thailand seems desperate for tourist money, visa free entry, reduced flight costs (assuming the airlines pass the reduction on). What comes next.

It is not a good idea to say bad things about a kidnapper whilst he still has hostages, if Qatar negotiates their release then will be the time to comment.

These events happen in all cultures, but what stands out to me is that death is seen as a viable threat.

Ok, they are helping by bombing. Great! If Hamas do not kill them, maybe the Israelis will.
When you give in to hostage takers you encourage more terrorists to take hostages.

I have always felt uneasy after SCB left me no option other than use their app on my phone to use internet banking.
I totally agree, I feel very insecure, plus I am now getting lots of spam, system upgrades, wrong numbers.
When my UK Natwest account introduced a phone app they had the decency to continue the previous online banking service, so one had a choice. -

With SCB as a foreigner we can 'sign out of' this scheme... (which places the responsibility on the account owner if there is fraudulent activity >50,000 baht).
Its strange that this was possible... unless of course, multiple transactions.
This new SCB app is supposed to be more secure than the online banking system they cancelled, so no OTP needed
. This is total bull<deleted> accounts are now less secure, what it does do. , , is to drive us more towards a cashless society. this allows banks to close branched and ATM machines.

An interesting comparison here between the media of two countries, Thai media makes a point of naming nationalities, British media make a point of not revealing nationality or ethnicity.
