He has just demonstrated to the family he can show a million. He needs to permanently show 800k just to live here.

Being fair,
a lot of air pollution comes from neighboring countries and is beyond Thailand's control. Apart from the farmers, most air pollution in cities comes from traffic and charcoal burning.

I see a near miss nearly every day in my village, vehicle speeds are excessive, especially with motorbikes, and children use the road as a play area.

I think it is the medical team making the fuss, not Thaksin. I think they are worried if anything happens to him his supporters will accuse them of doing a Putin on him.

was the transformer installed and owned by the electricity company, or was it private installation. Why did it need a mini substation for a load of just a few hundred watts max, Nothing making sense here.

This move by Pheu Thai is about as dumb as Yingluck's move at amnesty for Thaksin back in 2013, which started the beginning of the end of her reign. It's dumb a move, so much so, that it questions the intelligence of Pheu Thai leaders, including the exiled criminal himself.
or could it be that they assume the lack of intelligence in the electorate.

600 baht per month is a joke, 20 baht a day won't buy a meal, let alone pay rent and utility bills.

The minimum age on Facebook is 12 years old, Not a defense of the paedophile, but a comment on FB's system of age verification.

This clearly shows that the MFP is not part of the established herd of pigs jostling at the Thai feed trough.

British inflation lower than expected, so Bank interest rate will not increase, so Pound less attractive to investors.

Police in Thailand's Kanchanaburi province arrested an 18-year-old man, Theerapun, for exploiting underage girls on Twitter. Lieutenant Colonel Krisada Phalayalahan led the operation to apprehend the suspect from a hotel in Ubon Ratchathani.
The investigation began in June when officers from the Kanchanaburi police tracked human trafficking activity on Twitter. They discovered a user named "Nam", posting explicit content along with a price of 1,500 Baht per encounter. It was suspected that minors under the age of 18 were being exploited.
Officers staged a sting operation by posing as customers. When a meeting was arranged, two underage girls arrived to deliver a 17-year-old girl. The officers revealed their identity, took the 17-year-old girl into protective custody and arrested Theerapun, reported INN.
The preliminary inquiry revealed that Theerapun confessed to the charges and admitted to earning 200 Baht per transaction from the exploitation.

I am totally pissed off about this, this is not about security, its about the push to a cashless society. Less bank branches, ATMs and staff, and more profits for the bank. They could easily run both systems and let the customer choose. My British bank has both systems.
