well for me, Astro is still the best, compare to true. Astro even hv more HD channels. Try it.

They always change them, before they used to have star world and nat geo, seems each time they change they get worse.

Dont dream of getting nice program in thailand cable tv anymore. In future any channels that you can found in ubc, are not allow to be use in cable tv nationwide. The cable tv association is in meeting with ubc, to allow them to put some of its channels in cable tv. But fail to convince. Becos ubc is not selling well.

So if you need a nice program, install your own dish!!

This is what u call TOT internet. It downs every mth, i dare bet u. The worst internet provider in thailand. With no cheap package, but only follow other internet provider package. Its aledy down here in the south since last mth. But today on and off. Tis F...G service really cheating us.

am fat up myself with my very expensive true package with bad quality transmission even though I'm in Bangkok and programming that is based on repeats - I mean who wants to see "tomorrows world from 2004" - looks like true is buying the cheapest old crap they can lay their hands on - and once they ditched BBC entertainment for this really crap US channel AXN B

Am also fat up with the constant breaks for previews and some really crap advertising that is so bad, it makes my stomach turn (example tooth paste - any information would be highly apprechiated

Hello everyone

I just found out I'm on overstay cos I went to Laos without getting the proper re-entry stuff etc. This cancels my current Non-Imm B and Work Permit.

Planning to go to Vientiane, pay my overstay on the way out, and get a Non-Imm B at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane. Different sources tel me this takes different amounts of time. I have the necessary paperwork ready to go.

Some say if I arrive early in the morning (8-ish) it should be ready to pick up first thing the next morning. So I could leave BKK on Thursday say, and be back by Friday afternoon. Others say it takes two full working days to process...so I'd need to go on Wednesday morning, and return Friday morning or afternoon.

Anyone who has done this trip for Non-Imm B, I'd appreciate hearing how it went and how long it took for you. I've got to book flights asap and get this done.
