  1. Excellent point. Many months ago already, an Israeli official was asked how the IDF would react when a group of Hamas terrorists would held Israeli families hostage in a condominium in an Israeli city. Answer: we'd send in the special forces. Apparently indiscriminate bombing of that condo was not an option, when it concerns Israeli civilians.
  2. Somehow you must have missed this part of history: :During the 1948 Palestine war in which the State of Israel was established, around 700,000 Palestinian Arabs or 85% of the total population of the territory Israel captured fled or were expelled from their homes by Israeli forces.'
  3. Wasn't that the period when Netanyahu was supporting Hamas (divide and conquer, right?) and ignored the warnings of the plan that Hamas had?
  4. There seems to be a persistent opinion that Hamas can be destroyed, eliminated. Especially within the Netanyahu government, supported by Biden. It's a fantasy. Sure you can kill as many Palestinians as you want, and convince yourself that have eliminated Hamas, and have achieved security for Israel. Sure. In the meantime you have created generations of potential terrorists. And not just among Palestinians. Those ideas (of destroying, eliminating Hamas) are simply a product of the systemic racism in the Netanyahu government, which is made obvious every single day. With the unwavering support of Biden, of course.
  5. A question I've asked just after October 7th, on a completely different forum, when the death toll was already high and indiscriminate bombing was obvious. The answer was: turn Gaza into a parking lot. So I replied with: why not use Israels nuclear bombs and be done with it? No answer.
  6. Thank you for sharing your personal issues. I'm not posting articles with opinions, but with facts. If you're not interested in the facts about the Lavender program, and you don't want to compare it with the results on the battlefield in Gaza, that's for you.
  7. Good luck with expanding your knowledge that way. And before you come with complaining, I do my own research, and usually come up with credible sources, and those are the links I post. Anyone is welcome to do the same.
  8. If you don't have the time or capability to read extensive articles about the subject, not my problem.
  9. 'keeping civilian casualties to a minimum'? Please read the official IDF policy. https://www.972mag.com/lavender-ai-israeli-army-gaza/
  10. Hey look, and it's not even Al Jazeera! https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2023-12-21/ty-article/.premium/israelis-need-the-army-spokesmans-lies-to-keep-believing-were-winning/0000018c-8cdb-da31-adff-8edb0f430000
  11. 'claims IDF '. Enough said. I didn't say Al Jazeera is my 'go to', you just conveniently made that up.
  12. I'm not a Hamas supporter. Any proof for Al Jazeera having terrorist employees? I'll wait.
  13. I'd say that generally, Al Jazeera is a better news channel (in English) than any of the American news channels.
  14. Ok, then you have a PC or phone problem. Can't help you with that. Here's the text, I hope you can read. https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/israeli-minister-repeats-call-for-palestinians-to-leave-gaza/49095226
  15. Do you have a hearing problem? Which part of this article, including the video, is Hamas propaganda?
  16. Yes, I know that. But it is a prominent thought among the far right in Israel, and Netanyahu depends on the far right. You could also simply look at the results of Israel's policies, not just in Gaza, but also the West Bank. Gaza has become inhabitable. Not just by the rubble that's left, but also by the toxic materials everywhere, the destroyed infrastructure. On the West Bank Palestinian farmers are daily harassed and attacked by illegal settlers, driven off their land, with the support of the IDF. For many years already, but intensified since October 7th. And without any opposition from America, of course. The idea of the two-state solution is a fantasy, it doesn't matter that Biden and Blinken keep babbling about it. If you don't recognize the ethnic cleansing here, you must be blind.

  18. You must have missed this part: 25 'Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says he has ordered a “complete siege” of the Gaza Strip, as Israel fights the Hamas terror group. “I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed,” Gallant says following an assessment at the IDF Southern Command in Beersheba. “We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly,” he adds'
  19. You don't know about ethnic cleansing? For your reading pleasure: https://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/2024/2/26/settler-violence-israels-ethnic-cleansing-plan-for-the-west-bank
  20. For your information: https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-blog/live-blog-update/israeli-municipality-official-calls-burying-alive-subhuman-palestinian
  21. Your disdain for human life, in this case Palestinian, is obvious. Since Israel doesn't allow journalists in Gaza, or rather attack and kill them if they have the chance, I have to rely on UN reporting. And Israel's deliberately hindering and attacking food transports doesn't bother you at all I guess. Israel's defense minister Gallant explicitly declared a policy of starving Gaza, just after October 7th. ' Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says he has ordered a “complete siege” of the Gaza Strip, as Israel fights the Hamas terror group. “I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed,” Gallant says following an assessment at the IDF Southern Command in Beersheba. “We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly,” he adds.'
  22. You think that about 1 million on the verge of, already in starvation, doesn't count?
  23. You wonder why? That's odd. Maybe because the conflict in Gaza and the West Bank is the worst conflict at this moment. War crimes, and ethnic cleansing (let's leave out genocide for the moment) with the assistance of American money and weapons. And many of those students may very well have family ties with Gaza. You know, those families that have been erased indiscriminately with the help of 2000 pound American bombs. You should read up about official IDF policies.
  24. Thanks for informing me, although that wasn't necessary. I know all that. Biden is supposed to be a decent man, the perfect opponent to scumbag Trump, but in reality it's all fluff. Have you ever heard of the Leahy act? Apparently that law, like so many other laws in America, have no meaning.
