  1. Digging for rust is always compared to big surprises .. 555 :D

If you want to restore your car do it properly from the begining or let it be as it is , you only have to make the same work several times and after a while it only looks worse!

Was it a MB -79 280SE was it?

Im sure the model isnt´that un-usuall even in Los , better restore with new front fenders , door and rear panels etc. ..

Another thing .. where is the car located?

Even if we like Siam Bay cars dont like the salty water the way we do :) .... i remember a 450SE here in falangland who was owned by a guy who worked in the harbor and he always parked a few meters from the water .. after a few years only the fender crome was there!

  2. Some years ago I bought for my Thai wife a bilingual globe English-Thai, so that she little by little learnt something about the rest of the World.

It was one of my best investments ever.

I belive you .. i have a short video of mine when she´s standing in front a map of her own country .. im asking her where she comes from ... she looks at the map for 20 sec. and said´s: "Mei Lo"!

    How Sweet!!!! :)

  3. How could she not know about it? WWII is part of thai history. Thais sided with the Japanese, Japan sided with Germany (Hitler) Has she never heard of the infamous Thai/Burma Railway and the bridge over the River Kwai? We learnt in schools of the treatment afforded to allied prisoners of war at the hands of Thai and Japanese soldiers during the building of the Thai / Burma Railway from Bangkok through to burma
Really? I think, you should blame your gf....

My wive (also Thai) knows very well about Hitler and Nazis - learned at school in Thailand :)

To those of you who are Thai or have Thai Ladies that learned about this and many other things in school ... Congratulations , it only shows that not all Thai people have had the same upbringing and opportunity to learn in school thanks to the Thai School system i gues?!´ :D

  4. Nothing upset´s me anymore when it comes to Thai´s .. you just have to love them! 555 :)

Little did i know about Thailand and Thai culture 10 years ago so how could they know about this .. told GF about Hitler , WWII etc. couple of years ago and she had never heard about it so dont blame Thai People , blame the regime! :D

  5. Hi,

I have a 1954 Cadillac 4 d sedan. I would like to do some new crome at the bumpers and some other small things. Where can I find a company near Phuket?

    Hi!

I know there´s a very good company in BKK who have made all the crome to The King´s vintage cars , so ivé been told anyway , ivé seen it and the stuff looked great but was too expensive compared to eastern europe so the deal went down the drain for my friend who started crome Swedish stuff in BKK!

I can check with my friend and see if he´s still got the contact info!

Can´t read the plate on your car .. is it a swedish one or some thing else? :)

  6. Air is fun for some.

But the reality is hydraulics will set you free!
