  1. This title is from the new thailandpass website. My question is 14 days from your flight or 14 days after your 2nd shot that you have to wait to apply?? example I got my 2nd shot on 10/26/21 and my flight is 11/30/21 so do I need to wait till 11/09/21 (14 days from my 2nd shot) or can I go ahead and apply now since my flight is 11/30/21?? Thank you
  2. Well I cant apply until 11/09/21 and my flight leaves 11/30/21. I hope all goes ok because I have paid a ton of $$ with hotels and flights already
  3. USA vaccine card no QR code? Has anyone from USA had any issues on the new Thailandpass app? I would think the consulate in USA are aware of this? Thank you
  4. Was this for Bangkok or Phuket if Phuket which hotel name please?
  5. Not sure I have called 5 star hotels and 1 star hotels and no one knows anything. I think Phuket is not ready and the only choice is to cancel Phuket and go to Bangkok as they have the one night packages that can be booked.
  6. Well I guess I am going to pay an extra $475 usd to sit on the airplane in phuket and then fly on to BKK then stay in a AQ hotel that has the one day packages ready for guests. It seems that the phuket hotels dont know what the hell they are doing or care. Welcome to a beach laid back town. If I change this I will be able to comply with the new thailandpass website and be done with the phuket mess!!
  7. I called two different 5 star hotels and got two different answers about the rt-pcr test. 1 answer was to do test at the airport they dont provide the test from a hotel standpoint. They said to prebook on the psas website for the RTpcr test at airport. I asked about having to upload the pre paid along with the paid rt pcr test and said it cant be done from the new thailand pass website the hotel said that I would need to call the thailandpass website and discuss with them. 2. The 2nd hotel I called, I informed the same information and they said to wait till after Nov 7th because rules will be changing. I already knew this because the coe that were already filed are valid till Nov 7th and then the new thailandpass website will roll out. I still dont know the answer I guess just upload the hotel booking if it is accepted show up at the airport I am sure they wont let you exit without a covid test then wait for the result.
  8. I just want to get back to my family as well as others out there I am sure! It does not look like the hotels in Phuket were ready for the test and go option because none are offering the pre paid rt pcr test and I have looked from one star to five star hotels online and nada!
  9. Only reading the rules for the test and go option Phuket. It states to have a prepaid one day hotel along with rt pcr COVID test but when you try to attach your hotel booking you cannot attach your rt pcr booking as well and the way the rule states your test should be included in your booking??
  10. Yep I ran into that problem when applying for my visa was only able to attach one document and no larger than 3mb I was able to work around converting to pdf but not smooth.
  11. Wrong the hotel does not know anything about the test and the room I booked was for 2000 baht one night impossible to include the Covid-19 test as well!
  12. Ok have reviewed the new website and it states under the 1st option one ''test and go plan" that a paid one night stay with a paid rt-pcr test is required? Paid AQ / SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation (for the duration of 1 day and including the fee for one RT-PCR test) This from the new website! 1. There are no hotels that I can find in Phuket that offer the pre-paid RT-PCR test as a package or even mention on there websites I am looking through AGODA. Are we still to use the PSAS option and prepay for the test on arrival at airport? If this is the case there is no option to add the pre paid Rt-pcr test on the new thailandpass website only a choice to upload your pre paid one night hotel stay??? Anyone care to comment or offer there advise on what to do?
  13. Ubonjoe, So to confirm I am returning to Thailand with a new non o based on marriage and although I am returning to my Wife address that is registered my wife will have to report me on the tm30 so she does not get fined? If I recall I think there is a time limit to do the tm30 as well but I forget that part.
  14. I am sorry if I have not found an answer looking at other topics but my question is. What is Phuket plan for arrivals after Nov 1st with the RT PCR tests? From I am reading I am seeing from the CCSA that hotels will be responsible for getting the test to there guest for there one night stay? I am not finding any hotels on Agoda that are sha + that are including or even mention providing the test to new guests under the new Thailandpass rollout. Does anyone know if you can just get your test on arrival at the airport go to your sha + hotel and wait for your result within 24 hours? Thank you
  15. I guess that is Bangkok because I only see Sha plus on Agoda for Phuket. I am guessing that you can just get your Rt -Pcr test done on arrival at the Phuket airport. I sent an email to my asking and was told to wait until after the new thailandpass rollout. Anyone have any ideas about the Phuket airport test on arrival?? Thank you
  16. Do you just ask wise via email to tag you? I have two different bank accounts one them is Bangkok bank. In addition I read that you could have your social security directly deposit into Bangkok bank branch New York. Would that work?
  17. Is there any pre booking of the RT-PCR test at airport that needs to be made? Do you just pay $ at the airport upon testing? Thank you
  18. How many hours did it take to get your PCR test results? Thank you
  19. Insubuy.c.. the policy states 100 k to 500k for stuff like death or reparation of your body but for covid and other emergency's 50k after ded is met
  20. Does anyone know if there is a problem with having a large deductible on the insurance policy? Example I found a policy that covers the $50,000 usd covid coverage but the policy has a $5,000 usd deductible and 75/25 coverage and the cost is $63.00 usd for the 1.5 months that is needed to cover my whole stay. Thank you
  21. I am actually flying on the same flight number and I called the airline and asked them the question and I was told that I would need to pay an additional $475.00 USD to stay on the plane and follow on to Bangkok. I only paid $485.00 for the 1st leg from USA to Dubai on to Phuket so needless to say I will spend a night in Phuket then move on to BKK the next day. I am not paying that type of $$ for a connection to BKK.
  22. I sent my application via Thai e visa website yesterday and approved a new 90 day non-o today! One day turn around now that is as quick as it could be.
  23. I will be entering Phuket after November does anyone know under the set of rules that will be rolled out, Will it still be required to pre book your 1st covid test through the Thailandpsas.com website? or can you just arrive at airport pay and get tested upon entry? Thank you
  24. I have a Usa passport with a non o visa based on marriage. My daughter has a Thai passport and a Usa passport. I would like to bring her from Thailand to visit family in the USA. Which passport would she use to exit Thailand? I am pretty sure she would have to use the USA passport to enter in the USA but I am asking because she has never had no visa to stay in Thailand because she is a dual citizen but my concern is 1. If she uses her Thai passport to exit Thailand they will not let her fly because she does not have a visa to enter the USA? or 2. If she uses her USA passport to exit Thailand she will be charged a huge fine for an overstay? Is that even possible? Thank you
