If you know someone in Thailand, get them to get a Thai Simcard for you, activate it and set it on roaming and send it to you then no problem with OTP You may have to extend the cards validity when expiring but cost is not much

I was absent for some time and left my house vacant Now on return I find most of the door jams and some of the cupboards destroyed by termites The pool is a disaster also. Roof was leaking but found a Thai Team that fixed that and did a good job. I have been back in Australia for over 2 years, before returning I set my mobile number to Roaming, now I have no problem operating my Kasikorn Account from here as I can receive the necessary OTP when required, I use Kasikorn account to Top Up my Mobile Number when required. If you have a Thai friend you should get him or her to Activate an AIS Sim, set roaming up on it and send it to you and then register that number with your Bank, the fact that the number is not in your name should not make any difference.
