  1. Thanks, that is kinda what i was worried about. This doesn't feel like natural hair loss with age. And both of my grandfathers still have the majority of their hair, so i felt natural causes were a long shot. Any recommendations on a good dermatologist?

  2. I am 29 year old American Male and i am starting to experience a substantial amount of hair loss, and extremely itchy scalp. Just curious as to what the possible causes may be, and if i should see a doctor about this.

  3. This kind of attitude is typical from a Banana republic minister frustrated to be so small on the international scene, what the west have to care about, it doesn't make any difference if Thailand do or say something.

It's really laughable when this moron talk about sending military support in Libya, ah yes send what!!?? No ground operation, so what!!?? their decommissioned rusty aircraft carrier maybe haha. Even troupes on the ground would be crushed easily by Qaddafi's army.

So small you are Thailand and you play arrogance!!

Woop pak dee kua Khun Suthep.

They were talking about sending military to Libya? Please tell me thats a joke, as a former Marine i would feel pretty confident invading Thailand with just a company of Marines.

  4. I would have thought that buying Yen wasn't the best idea just at this moment in time what with all the difficulties they are going through just now ?

The place looks devastated on the news. It must be one of the worst natural disasters for a long time.

Given the depth of this disaster I think there will be allot of Japanese money coming back from overseas to re-invest back in Japan.

  5. Coming from a society that commends and aspires to solving real problems, it is difficult to see and interact with folks who have such a defeatist attitude towards thinking out of the box. Still love the regular,Thai folks though. (excluding politicians and police) I just wish some would realize that they CAN improve certain things. Just have to do it.

Most of the worlds problems are being caused by western society

(wars, resource usage, pollution, banking disasters)

Thais don't cause any problems worth talking about as far as I can see.

except of course for their own population..... I could also venture to say that while Thai's might not cause much harm in the world, they certainly don't offer much assistance except releasing the sexual tension of aging western men.

  6. I think if more people had a mai pen rai attitude towards life, there'd be a lot less neurotic people running around. They wouldn't be building nuclear power plants where earthquakes are almost an everyday occurence. Community and family would be much more important. Of course in the larger cities, there's not much difference., but the stock manipulations and banking malpractices wouldn't have such a world-wide disasterous effect. Poorer countries may be less educated than richer countries, but that's not necessaily "falling short." I fail to see where the more educated nations have done anything to make the world a better place. The greed and sociopathetic behavior are more pronounced in those countries that feel Thailand is a third world country. It's a shame that the internet has exposed certain countries to things that they "think" they want. What exactly are they falling short of?

You can't be serious??? I will just through a few world changing vaccines out there... Polio, Measles, Small Pox.... If the entire world subscribed to the, "lets lay around all day and get drunk" "mai pen rai" attitude you think the world would really be better off?

  7. For the record I live mid suk, so your saying I should check the post office for my area.

Once I found out they didn't process my direct deposit I immediately panicked. I live in a high rise, where all the mail is delivered and then sorted by the office and security staff. Needless to my confidence in the security staff is seriously lacking...

  8. Of course it wasn't sent by registered mail. Only a highly intelligent government bureaucracy like the VA could send me $10000 in treasury checks and pay .60$ in postage. I imagine I shouldn't worry to much about them being cashed as I doubt anyone could do it without a passport, however I am back in school and not working now and have been waiting for this money for sometime. The VA also didn't process my direct deposit and instead mailed me paper checks.

  9. I have been waiting on a substantial amount of money coming to me in the form of US treasury Checks and am really starting to get worried at this point. They were posted 3 weeks ago, and since then i have received a few things that were posted only last week. Any advice on this?

  10. 29 year old American currently on a 12 month Single entry ED visa.

I am going to India in April for holiday and need to find out what i need to do before leaving so my current visa won't expire.

I have never had to do this, but i assume i will need some type of exit stamp, so i don't have to re-do my ED visa upon returning from India.

    Thanks

Also i think my exit card is no longer in my passport. I have a habit of losing or destroying anything that comes within contact with me. How much will that cost me.

  11. Anyone have any experience cashing US treasury checks. I have an account with Bangkok Bank and have used a direct deposit from the VA before via the New York branch. But for some reason the VA seems to have lost their freaking mind and mailed me checks for the last 2 months instead of using direct deposit.

  12. I o remember reading a study done by Maxim magazine on which country is was easiest to find a one night stand.... And of the 50 countries polled Thailand ranked dead last. According to the 1000 girls they asked, only 8% had ever had a one night stand.... Amusing to say the least...

That makes sense, it's easy with prostitutes, not so easy with everyone else.

i went to university here, my friends and i used to hang out in RCA alot, and we always used to say it was like fishing with dinamite. Mostly middle-upper class girls.

  13. HOME RUN has a 110 inch high deffo stadium surround sound screen and 3@ 40 inch LCD monitors. Fantastic "Game Day" breakfast grub.

UFC will start to have a bigger presence here in Thailand in coming years. One of my friends who is based in Beijing took the job as CEO/MD of UFC Asia a few months ago. Thailand should be on the map to hold a big fight in the not to distant future.

The shows starts at 9:30 AM on the 6th. The main event will probably start around an hour later.

Tonight at 10:30 PM there is a replay of the Lessnar-Valazquez fight...might of been the most brutal fight I have ever seen. If you haven't seen this one you should check it out. Lessnar was incredibly gracious in the shock defeat. Shockingly well spoke. I probably garnered more respect from him after seing him lose, than when watching him destroy opponents. I hope they fight again!

sounds good, i think i will come over and check your place this time. Last time went to Robin Hood, but was annoyed as they advertised it, but kept changing the channel throughout. And i am annoyed by the English Accent.... :whistling:
