Lots of interesting places to see, some on back roads, which can be fun... just follow your nose off the main ring road to find the interesting spots!

My advice is avoid the centre of Chawang....and also don't pay attention to Trip advisor !!!

Seems we are getting a bit of rain this week, much needed! That will help driving on the sandy roads, as it is less dusty!

Looking for interesting places in Ko Samui to cover a weeks shooting, as its my first time on the island any recommendations will be helpful.

Few days it will be back open, they make over 10,000 a day so no way it will be closed for long.

Last night the police raided the Ghost tower and closed it down, so of not access is not possible

As long as you promise not to laugh at my camera gear,have only got beginners stuff

Don't worry mate , you work with what you have, it not so important on the gear you have more about how you see the shot and work it into something you are happy with, planning a shot is much more important than thinking about the gear in you bag

Sure Its a tourist attraction now , even kinda shop inside at the bottom selling water etc, they have now spent money on fixing the steps and added lighting all the up to the roof, pay the guy 100B and off you go^^

Many towers have finally come to completion and construction is continuing, however many broke developers are still unable or unwilling to take action.
The Sathorn Unique has an eerie feel, with exposed infrastructure giving it a post-apocalyptic look. According to one blogger, abandoned rooms were filled with curious objects, from mannequins to a picture of the King. Locals say that the building is haunted.

Dry boxes are a must to protect you glass, though I never buy expensive cabinets or boxes. I just go to the supermarket buy some super lock boxes add your silica gels packs^^

Thanks mate only managed to get down there for an hour as I was shooting something else, the rain was to much of an opportunity to miss so got down there as fast as I could, hoping for better tomorrow going to hit it in the evening with some good light^^

What are you using for camera water protection? I hope I can get out to try my EM-1 as it is water resistant. But, nice shots.

I just use a black bag from the 7/11 that's about as much as you need if your body and glass are weather sealed^^
