The contributors are mostly based in Chiang Mai, but some arefrom other provinces. They all participate in joining hands to produce networks and new lines of art.

  4. Vegetarian Festival 2009

    Location: Chiang Mai

    The Vegetarian Festival is an annual religious festival. The aim of this festival is to teach people not to exploit animals, which Buddhism regards as friends, living in a shared world. The food we eat must exclude meat.

    From 16th -18th October 2009, Chiang Mai is celebrating the Vegetarian Festival at Chiang Mai Buddhist Association Hall and will distribute vegetarian food throughout these 9 days.   11. Utilising Trance in the Creative Process

    Calling all artists, writers, musicians and anyone who wants to recharge their creative battery. This evening will focus on trance and its usefulness in aligning with the unconsciousness to foster creativity and move through mental blocks. An outline of modern hypnotherapy will be provided.   12. Balance in Chaos Art Exhibition

    Chadwick and Spector have assembled a collection of "Wood Relief Installations" which they have created over the past five years based on structures of Mandalas.

    The work is a mesh of Eastern philosophy and symbolism combined with decorative elements, pop icon references and attributes of historic western artists.

    All works are created by using multiple mediums including oil, acrylic, enamel, silkscreen and watercolour paints, sand, rocks, gold leaf, photocopies, charcoal, pastels, and pottery.
