  1. The expiry date of my motorcycle license and car license have a two year gap between them. Motorcycle license has expired 1.5 years ago. Car license is about to expire this year. Today I tried to get them both renewed at the same time: Arrived at building 4 of DLT Chatuchak with the following: A. Original certificate of residence from ChaengWattana immigration (200B) B. Original health certificate from a clinic (150B) C. Passport photo page and visa page copy D. QR code from the online training I have a second set of the above except A. And B. are photocopies hoping they will be accepted for the Moto license. At building 4, you will find the special foreigner zone to your right immediately after the entrance. Took a queue and called to counter 4. After reviewing my documents, the friendly staff said that I cannot renew my motorcycle license because the certificate of residence is written to be for car license renewal only. I will have to get a second letter from immigration. She suggests that I come back with this so I can renew both at the same time. If I were to do so, the expiry date of both licenses will be in sync to expire 5 years from now. The motorcycle license renewal will require a 2 hours sit in course at 8am the day I come in. Alternatively I can choose to not renew the motorcycle license and just go ahead and book a time slot two days from now to renew just the car license. No videos needed and I can come in, in the afternoon. Time slots 1pm and 2pm available. In the past, I used a certificate of residence from my Embassy instead of from immigration. The difference is the one from the embassy can be photocopied and used for both car and Moto as it is not written on the letter what it is for. The one from immigration does, so it is necessary to pay for two certificates (200B x 2)
  2. I cannot edit my reply earlier, so I want to give an update here. Last year, 2 photos at my residence was enough. This year, they want me to take new photos and they want 4 photos. (One specifically showing your room number) So to be safe. Every year take 4 new photos at your residence
  3. Thanks for the replies. For the question about the requirements. I will add that you need the new requirement of ‘notification of residence for foreigners’. Do that online and print it out. For bangkok, only one set is enough. Also two color photos of you and wife at residence printed on one A4 is enough.
  4. Hi i have just applied for the one year extension at chengwattana in bangkok. I will be returning in three weeks to have the extension stamped into my passport. Regarding the 400k in the bank. Does it have to remain above 400k to show them again when I see them in three weeks ? Or will they not check again ? thankyou !
  5. How about on the "add" page, does it say 'in progress' up top?
  6. So I registered an account using my condo which is in wife's name. Then I added myself to this condo. I did this on october 1st. Checkin date 1st October stay for 90 days. For the past three days I have tried to search my record but it keeps saying record not found. If I set the date of stay from 1st october to 11 october, it says the record can only be searched for past 7 days. Now I am not sure if I registered correctly or not since the start. So I press the ADD button and try to add myself again. However on the ADD page, it says 'in progress' up top. Does this mean I am still not added into the system for the last eleven days? Anyone else seeing the same thing?
