  1. You don't have to tell me I got Dengue in Sukhothai where I live and almost died. The doctor said I was lucky because I had contracted Dengue2 the worse strain apparently but he said one good thing is you have immunity because you survived. ???? I would say it was the most nastiest virus experienced I have ever had in my life.
  2. From Lazada I bought a Tokyo Marui Glock 17 Gen 4 has 350 fps power good fun had at target shooting. My BIL bought an air-rifle for me in Pattaya a Spanish Gamo 1000 fps single load spring-gun I target shoot cans and metal flap type targets I made myself saves having go backwards and forwards up to 900 metres.
  3. Dengue can be a killer.
  4. Most people that don't have a yellow book change passport numbers when they renew their Thai DL. The policemam obviously is not aware of that. If he ask to see your passport the old passport number is in the new passport. Just another fuss only nowt.
  5. I would say did OP see the incident or just the kids riding by at the time. Of course westerners seem to care more but this is not the west which is forgotten by many staying here constantly.
  6. I think the consensus is for farangies is if you have guns of whatever keep them out of sight, I do and can on my farmland so I am fortunate. Archery is my favorite anyhow but you are still restricted like with any weapons even a knife.
  7. Dogs forget and come back and Thais look upon you doing such a thing with a gun is not good but with a catapult bought from the local guys shop it makes it no problem.
  8. Bikers like me and engineers old school like me would call people like you a fagot Pratt.
  9. I don't think that is correct cause how come did I buy one from Lazada. They are also sold in shops and markets.
  10. I'm 75 and insured with Roojai.
  11. Yeah no worries you get daft people on here. The 650 kwaka I had was a Versys there were no issues I think the R or Ninja or ER6 engines are much the same. There was a valve fault recall on my 2011 Versys that CM kwacka dealers said they looked at and changed and Nakon Sawan dealership who found out they hadn't so there's some shady dealers about. Hue Hin kwaka seemed to be good. Never went to any others I serviced the bike myself except for the computer analysis check which I did with Nakon Sawan every year and no issues were ever found. Good bike good engine.
  12. I have told OP what to do about forks and forks problems are common on most bikes that's what the threads about. If you know so much why ask questions, I have never owed a bike like yours so why would I want to know about a cbr150 needle Carb model or the Kawasaki bike you have.
  13. They insure the vehicle for you whoever owns it as far as I know, they tell you what is insured and what isn't insured when its a truck. They have very good English speaking staff that will answer all your questions without obligation so ring em up.
  14. Roojai have excellent English speaking, reading, writing personnel. If you want to insure through them tell them I recommended you and I get 200 baht. ????????
  15. My wife doesn't have a drivers license but Roojai insure the the truck in her name and I am down as main driver buy anyone can drive it as long as they have a Thai DL and are over 25 years of age.
  16. My wife wanted to come to England where I lived between Watford & St Albans, Herts. because I asked her to and she was a great help for selling everything off and me getting ready to leave England and retire in Thailand. I took a picture of her standing at the front gates of Buckingham Palace and when she showed the picture to her family they said Oh! Your Sammy's house is beautiful. ????????
  17. Yes it's a never know thingy but for me I like my truck and if someone did a lot damage and was not insured had no money etc is an expensive item to replace for me.
  18. Anyone can have one no licence requirement. Just teach him the correct way to own a gun and what to do and what not to do. As far as I know the only trouble you can get into is damaging someones eye. Any gun becomes illegal if you kill something with it is what I read somewhere on gun laws in Thailand.
  19. I find them very efficient they do my CTPL included and I pay by 10 monthly installments and a 10,000baht excess to make it a cheap 1st class cover. As for are they OK with claims frankly I hope I don't have to find out.????
  20. Wasn't that problem fixed by Honda, if not most people would go with a Dynojet needle kit. As for your bike look up in other owners forums is where I look for issue with a bike I am not familiar with to check out. I thought your bike is fuel injected so just have a computer analysis plug in check up as well, at Kawasaki I paid 200 baht from memory.
  21. Well I don't want to find out, the 1st class voluntary insurance is a precaution against someone hitting the truck doing a lot of damage and not being insured. I have a 10,000 excess as well in case of it being my fault which makes it cheaper still.
  22. For Americans easy to go London England but as I said with assistance from her English husband/partner as a Thai let her try to get there that be a a mountain to climb just for starters.
  23. Let them do the service and check the bike over as they should with a bike service. Oil and oil filter, check brake pads, check coolant level make sure it has proper coolant fluid in it. Many other things are obvious as to wearing but whether there worn enough is your decision. Wait to hear what they say and then you decide whether things are bad enough to replace or fix.
  24. Let her go alone to the English embassy that will be enough to put her off. ???? Or just take her on holiday there that is hard enough to apply for, maybe she will see for herself things are not as easy as it probably is for the Thai rich girl on tic tok.
  25. No I use Roojai.
