1. Why are PAD making noise that the Cambodian government recently award the mining rights of the the overlapping area to a Japanese company?

Why didn't PAD, at the same time also inform the public that Thailand had also awarded mining rights of the overlapping areas to Foreign companies (Idemitsu, Chevron, British Gas and Mitsui Oil) as far back as 1968. Even before the Cambodian did.

  2. HUGE Guarantee need to be paid by any people bring a foreign vehicle to Thailand, Cambodian included. When I say HUGE, I mean HUGE, and not just 1,000 Baht. Depending on the type of vehicle, in most cases, it is more than USD $5,000, or (167,000 Baht).

Say a 10 wheeler truck, on the low side cost 2 million Baht. Say that liable tax & duties (including VAT) for importing that truck, on the low side is 30%. Hence, on a low side, a foreign truck owner (no matter if he is Cambodian, Burmese, Malaysian, Singaporean, Chinese, Laos or Vietnamese), will have to pay at least 600,000 Baht (or USD $20,000) in guarantee. Get it now?

You people cannot read can you? Like to point out to you again:

    Half way down the page:

    Deposit of Guarantee

    • The amount of a cash deposit and a guarantee calculated by Customs is determined on the basis of all liable taxes and duties to be paid to Customs.

  3.
In Japan, prostitution and sexual services are totally legal. In fact, prostitution in Japan is more or less considered as a normal work. No shame in that. A lot of Japanese housewives also expect their husband to use services from prostitutes occasionally, since he works a lot and doesn't have time to relax etc. That almost sounds to good to be true.

Humm... Why didn't I marry a Japanese woman instead?
Being a Japanese woman, I have to disagree with you.

  4. I watch the uncut version in youtube.

    I don't think it is pre-rehearsed.

Looks like the tourist really break the machines and tried to run.

The repair may be a little expensive, but don't forget that these machinery are luxury imported items with heavy import tax. It cost more than a car in Thailand.

  5. I agree with the Thai government that such movie making MUST be controlled.

While Thailand have many smart and well educated people (Mark for an example), most people couldn't even understand a second language. For example, the vast majority of the Chinese cannot even understand Chinese (their mother tongue), not to mention English.

Freedom of speech is a Western concept. The time is not right for Thailand. Thailand must not accelerate herself too much to try to catch up with the Western world or Japan. There will be a time in the future. While waiting for that, Thais have to be patient, and have its media controlled.
