  1. The lengths we will go to for a decent Cuppa !!! hahaha

You only get an oo with Typhoo :)

I will report back when I try the Tesco ones soon.

As a HUGE tea lover/drinker I feel your pain at not getting a good cuppa.

If the Tesco ones aren't up to much I'm coming over in a few weeks and can bring some good bags over for you. My local Tescos here in the UK has 320 PG Pyramid bags(2 boxes X 160) for £5 at the moment.

    Just let me know.

  2. Then there's the two strokes, I don't know the HP of these but I'm sure even the 125 dash would be well over 20HP as a standard. I'd guess the KR 150 would be around 30. With a bit of work and after market pipe, the HP will increase quite a bit. Either of these bikes are 5-6k with plates.

I think you're being a little optimistic with the BHP figures.

Without any tuning work a good standard 125cc two stroke would be putting out 15 or 16 BHP.

  3. You have any images ?? I thought the KSR 110 was the first model.

I have. I'll dig them out and post them.

Most of the manufactures made a mini version bike in the late 80's and early 90's.

Yamaha had the YSR in 50cc or 80cc form.

Suzuki had the GSXR50 (commonly known as a gag bike)

Honda had the NSR in 50cc and 80cc form.

Kawasaki had the KSR1 (80cc liquid cooled)

Try www.gagbike.co.uk a UK mini bike forum with lots of pictures etc.

  4. I would also add that a settlement visa is a lot less expensive however its all about what you both want its not always down to £.

However it is the cheapest option as 7/7 has advised.

I agree. We chose the fiancee visa because we don't want our marriage registered in Thailand. For us it's worth the extra cost.

Why would you not want your marraige registered in Thailand?

  5. Sorry but as a Cornishman I have to inform you that you will not find a good pasty in Pattaya. I have searched for one for the last 4 years, to no avail.

I am currently in negotiations with Ivor Dewdney for distribution rights in Asia, I will let you know how it pans out.

Old Plymouth Argyle joke - they have a new keeper, Ivor Dewdney, you won't get nothing past he (pasty in Janner dialect) :)

Well im a foreigner ( Devon :D ) and the guy that owns the rendavous rest/bar out on the lake on siam country road is from St Austell, and makes pasties and pies, and very nice they are too , but being a foreigner im NOT a pastie expert :D first time out there his thai wife walked up to us and said " ALRIGHT " (local westcountry alternative for " how are you " ) :D:D

I'm from St. Austell. Do you know what the owner is called?

Always makes me laugh when i go into the Londoner in Bangkok as they have a sign on the wall advertising 'traditional Cornish pasties' made with lamb!!!! :D

  6. Neighbours made a complaint directly to the Banglamung Administration, instead of the local police, over the 'Phuket Bar', located on Pattaya Third Road for flouting the law, by opening after hours, playing loud music, taking over the footpath as part of their bar and allowing under aged teenagers to patronize it.

On 14th August, Mr. Pongsit Pitjanun, the Banglamung administrative assistant of the Protection and Suppression Division along with local volunteers, patrolled the areas around Pattaya Third Road, after receiving numerous complaints from neighbours that the bar concerned had opened illegally.

When they arrived at the Phuket Bar, opposite the fire and police station, the bar was found to be open with a band playing on stage. There were tables on the foot path, including parked cars. A man in a black uniform was standing at the front gate as a security guard.

There were over 100 customers, both Thai and foreigners, many of whom were in their 20s and 30s who were found drinking and dancing. The music was stopped as requested by the officials, but received complaints from the customers. The Officials were told that the place belonged to local officials, which resulted in an exchange of words, before they managed to control the situation.

The Official Team, on searching the customers ID, found 4 teenagers under the age of 18, three of them male and one female. They also found the bar to have been operating without a license.

The bar was ordered to close until further notice, with officials reporting to their supervisors and the Chonburi Provincial. Officials are holding the people responsible at the police station, till the matter is resolved.
