  1. Set the victim on fire! No mercy. Father, you have a monster evil son. End of story.

Yes, he has a monster son and the girl must also be a monster. But the part of this story that breaks my heart if true is this:

A passer-by alerted the rescue workers and police to put out the fire.

Are there no "Good Samaritans" left in the world. What difference might it have made had the passer-by tried to put out the fire. I guess the only positive thing is that he/she apparently didn't stop to make a video.

Actually they did make a video, it went onto liveleak. sad.png Sure somebody can provide the gruesome link.

  2. This raises important questions:

    1. Has any country done a comprehensive environmental impact study on this? There are serious concerns that have been touched on here. People need to be educated about the harmful side, especially the people in the project and the people on the receiving end. And finally the people should be able to decide if the harm and costs warrants the gains, comparing this method to other alternatives of increasing water to their farms.

    2. Who is making the decision on who gets rain and who doesn't? For instance, are the poorest and most underpopulated areas left to suffer while wealthier areas are the focus?

    3. How much is this "rain making" and how much is "rain shifting"? I mean is it making some areas dryer by taking away rain that would normally fall there and diverting it to other areas (see #1, #2).

Without answers to these questions I really hate to see these planes doing anything.

On point one. Yes the CSIRO Australia did quite sometime ago, there is probably a Wikipedia entry on it but I can't recall the projects name. Anybody recall?
  3. May get ???

    SHOULD GET !

I hope some-one punches his belly, chick and chin many-times until he gets unconscious, than rapes him several times, than throws out him from the window as a garbage, exactly like he did to those poor innocent and unprotected 13 yrs old school-girl.

    I HOPE.

    So childish.

    1) There are so many better ways to inflict pain on him.

    2) Take a break whilst typing and calm down.

    3) Raping him would be more effective whilst he is awake.

    4) We have something called human rights which are non-discriminatory, something which sets us apart from his type.

    5) Throwing him out of a window on a train could give him a means to escape.

    6) Let Thai prison do its job.

    7) Stating a 13 year old is "innocent, unprotected and in school" would account for most 13 year olds.

    Exactly!
  4. Even today, when they released the satellite data, it turns out the airline tried to call the plane twice, which reset the hourly cycle on the satellite pings. So it wasn't just hourly pings, but a few other satellite connections along they way.

Pings would only happen at set times unless the hardware reset. It does bring into question ATM frames and encapsulation. In other words, the call cannot change the ping handshake and space between them. They would just have a longer latency.

  5. well she has more balls than thaksin, did not expect here to show but maybe she is starting to realize she wants to live in Thailand without all the crap her brother has caused

  6. Well he's gone, and not exactly a fun last few years. I doubt he got special treatment in the Chinagmai lock up.

But this phrase seems purest hyperbole.

" one of the worst cases of child sexual abuse ever uncovered in Thailand. "

I have heard of much worse things happening here, than was ever mentioned in this old geezers case.

But the whole thing is moot now, he never finished his trial and never exited his cell.

If he hadn't done a runner to Myanmar he might have finished his days in a crap room somewhere,

but he ended them in jail without a definitive conclusion to the charges. Maybe fair maybe not.

But the alleged child porn on his computer may have been sufficiently damning alone.

Then again we will never know if it was allegedly still illegal 19 year olds nor much younger.

Sordid case no matter how you slice it. Ashes to ashes etc.

    dust to dust.

  7. One look at him and his prophesy that he will be dead before the court rules seems hardly prophetic.

The guy will spend the end of his days in hell and let's hope the court give the public it's conclusion

even if the guy does expire, so that it is known if he would have been convicted or not.

He is guilty? Hell comes before or after guilty?

    The people's court has spoken!

  8.

What is with the finger pointing. I have to assume these tourists were coached by the newspaper photographer - too <deleted>nny.

Everyone here keeps making <deleted>n of the way Thai police take pictures of the victims pointing at the accused.

Hard to argue with a picture showing the victim pointing to the perpetrator in Court. Actually pretty smart for them to do so. Pictures hold up in Court better than the statements do when the "victim" (most likely a tourist) has gone back home and not available to testify. Statements can also be in the victims native language and often the translations can be wrong giving the criminal a way out.

Now just because they point at you doesn't mean your guilty either! Many cases of mistaken identity. To some people all Asians look the same as is the same for all Asians looking at foreigners. So what do you do? In this case he plead guilty and got caught.

Yeah fine, like a line-up. BUT what happens if everybody in the jury saw the article. It's biased.

  9. Ingenious?

8 Million baht from 18 people? I wouldn't argue with 'ingenious'. Clearly they're still evolving new 419's to replace the old "I am Ohmyfinga Ikidunot, son of the late King Footlong Ikidunot of Lower Evungatuk, and I have a proposal for you"...

Cryptic. What does this post mean?

Google 'Ebola Monkey Man: Nigerian 419 Scam' and it will make sense. wink.png
