  1. You should read the fine print. Rwanda will only accept refugees that augments their economy. The refugees must either have money, or a skill-set. For every refugee Rwanda accepts, they will sent one of their own refugees to the UK. In other words, we swap our educated refugees for their uneducated and needy refugees. Those that will need support from the government with housing and money. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Otl-CFqUdiU&ab_channel=TrevorCoultMC®️
  2. Man! Talk about ignorance. Biden has ALREADY convinced Saudi Arabia to start pumping more. The Saudis are more interested in keeping their allie the USA than more money.
  3. What, like your statement that we will all be buying Russian oil?
  4. Rubbish. Saudi Arabia is nowhere near pumping capacity. In fact they have spare capacity of one million barrels per day.
  5. You seem to have a reading comprehension problem. I agree with everything you say. My problem is with the euphemisms. The words "sacrifice" and "gave their lives" imply dying was a choice. These people had their lives TAKEN against their will. Just RIPPED away.
  6. They didn't "give" their lives, or sacrifice their lives. Their lives were ripped away. Taken. I really hate those euphemisms.
  7. I was trying to avoid the "A" word.......which he's missing.
  8. Could this thread be merged with the thread Patong - The Wake? After all, same subject. Split into two is just a pain.
  9. Not the same at all. You paid for the health service in your own country with the taxes you pay. If you have to pay immigration for a document that immigration themselves have officially said is free, is something else entirely......
  10. Aren't there government mandated price differences for government hospitals depending on whether a patient is Thai, or foreigner?
  11. How do you feel about paying for a document from immigration that is supposed to be free?
  12. Wrong. It's UAE. Russia isn't even in the top five. See link. https://oec.world/en/profile/bilateral-product/crude-petroleum/reporter/tha
  13. That's just not true. Thailand - Legal and estimated illegal guns = 15.1 per 100 people. USA - Legal and estimated illegal guns = 120.5 per 100 people. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firearms_in_Thailand https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estimated_number_of_civilian_guns_per_capita_by_country
  14. Actually, wealth has nothing to do with Caste. There are many, many rich lower Caste Indians, whilst the top class; Brahmins are usually poor due to the restrictions that they have to follow.
  15. Harleys are made to be customized with after-market parts and they can look spectacular. Unfortunately, in Thailand they are mostly left as bog standard. They are also ideal for US roads, but I can't think of a place less suited for them than Thailand. Some people classify them as agricultural equipment, which I find hilarious.
  16. Most of the fun is finding out for yourself.
  17. Firstly, in Thailand the maximum lease period on a piece of land is 30 years. 30+30+30 years is invalid. In the UK, the tax exemption on property is 325,000 pounds. The excess of this amount is 40%. Why say "the West"? The West consists of many different countries with different death duties.
  18. You can close the thread. The proof of address paperwork has been answered.
  19. The mash I make with the local spuds is perfectly OK.
  20. Yes, for frying. Potatoes come in two types; waxy and floury. Waxy makes good chips, floury makes good mash. The potatoes here are floury.
  21. On the one-way system in Phuket. From the roundabout with the tin-miner water cannons (not far from the main wet-market) there is a Chinese shop on the right-hand side, before you turn into Phang-Nga road.
