I followed a plan that turned out well. Up to the age of 25 I spent everything I earned; after all, you're only young once. From 25 to 30 I saved something, it didn't matter how small, it was to instill the habit of saving. After 30, I saved as much as I could. I'm now invested in high dividend companies within ETFs. Each year I'm making between 5% to 8%. The lesson here, is that you have to start saving early. Starting at 50 isn't really good enough, though every bit helps. P.S. I don't get a pension as I never paid in. I thought I would do better myself by investing those contributions.

Over the last two years I have dropped from 90kg to 75kg. No exercising, no change of diet. Smaller portions of what I usually eat and most importantly, each time before I eat something, I ask myself "are you hungry"? Surprising how many times the answer is "no". I only eat if I'm hungry.

Thai Tax ID whats the latest in obtaining one

Passport cover page. Visa page. And they give you a long form to fill out. It was a while ago, so I can't remember. Nothing hard to get, though. -
Thai Tax ID whats the latest in obtaining one
KarenBravo replied to stat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I went to a tax lawyer who got me mine. I have no businesses in Thailand. Cost me 15k and I believe you can do it cheaper yourself, but hassle free, the money was worth it. -
Hold on. You said I should re-read my quote, which I did. You never supplied an alternate web-site. Where is the relevant info in my quote?
-
Yes, you are right after further Googling, yet the link I supplied says nothing about this. Could you please point out the line applicable in the link? I read it once and have now read it again and I can't see any mention of lap-tops.

How? There is no field to put the new TM6 number on the new web-site. -
90 Day Reporting Online

That's good news. With the old report, everything I said was true, which of course is now invalid, though, we still get a new 90 day report automatically when applying for an extension at Phuket. -
Only if it's worth less than 40k Baht. http://www.customs.go.th/list_strc_simple_neted.php?ini_content=individual_160503_03_160922_01&lang=en&left_menu=menu_individual_submenu_01_160421_02

90 Day Reporting Online
KarenBravo replied to Admiral Hornblower's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If you try and do your first 90 day online, the program instructs you to visit your nearest immigration office. Have no idea if you can do that first one by mail, but, you certainly can't in Phuket. Again, new TM6 number will trigger the same message. Yes, 90 day report is done same time as extension. All this applies to Phuket, which I stated. So if you say this isn't so for immigration, then you are putting false info out there as well. Best is go to the office and ask. -

90 Day Reporting Online

Maybe you didn't read the post where I said was in Phuket? Pretty much any info about immigration could be wrong by your definition as it's well known that every immigration office has it's own requirements. That includes getting an extension. What paperwork to submit and if you have to come back for them to check your bank-book. Good advice. I will ignore you. I won't put you on ignore as that is what easily bruised people do. -

What incorrect information? Yes. Phuket. -
Late March and April are the hottest time of the year. Last night, slept with a blanket and no fan. Lovely! I certainly don't miss the heat, do you?

90 Day Reporting Online
KarenBravo replied to Admiral Hornblower's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You can call it whatever you want. "A rose by any other name" etc. The fact is, is that when you do your extension, immigration update your 90 day report automatically without being asked. -

You don't need to do a 90 day report after a new extension. Nowhere do I say you do. I don't know about other immigration offices, but when you get a new extension, a new 90 day is also done at the same time initiated by the officer doing the extension. Common sense if you think about it.
