I paid about 15K from memory , it's about 6 months old. Not a problem, always tell staff to be aware around anything wood when mopping. As I said 6 months & not a blemish.

So the question is actually, is the veneer desk a bad choice, or is it actually only a matter of personal choice and it will it probably last as long as the other one?
i have one all but the same, do not have a problem & they come with a set of draws & a side cabinet. Looks good & no problems so far..

Nepal Earthquake
Members of Samui Hash are collecting blankets, temperate clothing & shoes, tents, tarpaulins etc this weekend to send into the disaster zone. If residents have anything that they would like to donate they are welcome to do by:
1) Handing them to any member of the hash by midday Saturday, or
2) Dropping them off at Saturdays hash site between 3.30 & 5.30pm (see link for details-you can join in too if you wish!) or
3) Delivering them to the Red Fox in Lamai on or before 6pm Saturday Evening.
The support of the resident community with this venture is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Samui Hash House Harriers

Thailand clearing agents, here is a start:
-
First thing you do is contact an export agency in Sydney. They will organise everything for you re shipping to Thailand.
Second thing is to organise a clearance agent here, who will organise all formalities & whatever taxes are due.He should also be able to organise trucking.
I suggest you contact the Thailand agent first & see if they need any more paperwork then the standard manifest.
In Sydney, yellow pages look under forwarding agents.
In Thailand Google search if you are stuck I can give you a name of an agent, just send me a PM.
Good Luck.

It's a public holiday. As previously mentioned you have a pinned thread about this.Your situation is between yourself & your employer. The people to ask this are the Labour Office.
No, this is not between me and my employer. The pinned thread shows the list of holidays, it does not explain how Thai offices interpret and enforce the holidays. Thai Visa is a forum where you can ask questions about things that are happening in Thailand. And I am doing so. Ease up a little.
I am wondering if offices are mostly or all closed on these days. It is not specific to me.
It's a public holiday for all sectors. Hence my suggestion to contact Labour Department for correct clarification. In your case, if they force you to work that day, there are penalty rates to be considered.
