Once again, if anyone is still worried if they are going to get their benefits tomorrow because of the Form 7162 fiasco, just log into your mySSA account and see if it says Active with a green dot and the date of your next payment which should say February 03, 2026. I hope everyone is ok, I am. Phew!!

I just checked mySSA account to make sure that I will be getting my February payment as I wanted to make sure the Form 7162 fiasco didn't suspend my payment and all is good!! Nice relief to know all is well. February 3rd is the next payout date.

Your 2026 COLA Form is now available on your mySSA Account for you to download. It's under messages. They will mail out paper copies next month in January.

On average, Social Security retirement benefits will increase by about $56 per month starting in January. Over the last decade the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) increase has averaged about 3.1 percent. The COLA was 2.5 percent in 2025. You obviously have me confused with somebody else. I never asked about Sunday roast and sushi restaurants in Old Town Phuket. I have never bought an Electrolux appliance or drank beer my entire life. (I know, right? but true). No rock garden as well. I don't mind humor at all, but not at the expense of someone who has either money problems and/or health problems. Very sensitive to these. I thought this might interest you. The SSA now allows you to call either the US office or the Manila office to fill out and verify the information on form 7162 and the agent can attest to your signature. This was issued as an emergency decree last year and has been renewed for this year, 2025. https://secure.ssa.gov/apps10/reference.nsf/links/01102025092157AM

No need to call. I went to a few social security websites in other countries, and they said that this year, the form 7162 will be mailed in June or July and NOT in May or June like in the past, so that means we should start to get them very soon. Also, your benefits are not stopped until February if your form is not received.

Well, I guess it was finally my time. I have used WISE for 7 years now monthly and never an issue until now. Last night made a transfer from US bank at 7:04 pm. They said that they were waiting for my money and there was a slight delay on their end. As of now, still not received, but my bank shows the money was taken at 12:04 am last night from my bank account. Talked to WISE and they said that it could take up to 4 days to reach them even though in the last 7 years, it was always instant. Now she says that I SHOULD be paid on Tuesday and if not, contact them again, so not much help and no definitive answer. Not happy, but all I can do is wait.

I placed an iHerb order on Monday March 10th and it arrived here in Khon Kaen on Thursday March 13th, only 3 days to arrive. Amazing!!
