Someone should have explained the use of lanes to you before you started driving in LOS.

Inside lane (nearest kerb) is for parking, especially next to the roadside noodle / somtam / gai yang stall to pick up food for the journey.

Middle lane is for motocy and for overtaking the cars in the outside lane. In emergency it may be used to double park next to the roadside noodle / somtam / gai yang stall to pick up food for the journey if the inside lane has at least 2 parked cars either side of said food stall.

Outside lane is for coasting along in at slow speed and enjoying the sights that the journey has to offer and may be used by fast motocy to overtake.

I really feel sorry for the small buisness owners in Bangkok that was depending on this week for a boost to there bottom line going into the slow season.

It is amazing how desperate people can be to be so loyal to such a self serving, former PM. Is all Thaksin did was hand out 500 baht notes for votes and promise village mayors of endless prosperity, that never happend.

As with most countries, farmers are either poor or not that well off. Why now do the poor farmers think that Thaksin will all the sudden make them anymore than they always have been. They where poor when he was the PM and they will be just as poor with the next PM.

This guy would rather bring this country to its knees and to the brink of civil war, than see another leader bring them out of a terrible ressesion and on the way to economic prosperity.

As these weeks go by, I truly believe he is handing out those 500 baht note again, and people believe he is the allmighty savior. When in reality he is just the same self serving dictator he was in the past, now with something to prove to the world.

I guess you give a desperate people a ray of hope they will follow you to the end of the Earth, and sacrifice all to serve him.

Reminds me of a couple of others in history. Hiltler, Stalin, Mucalini to name a few

I was in Khao San on business Friday and saw for myself a line up of people about 200 metres long, at a booth and I can tell you they were not getting som tum vouchers. The money was been handed out like it was going out of fashion.

Taksin should be ashamed at the lose of life just for his ego.

So sad for the majority of Thais who can't celebrate their new new because of these narrow minded people.

My business partner who lives in Bkk same as me and he is from the UK, this week had a loan for a business approved. He went to the Kasikorn Bank in Silom Road. Maybe try there. They were very happy to loan to him. Give them a call.

40' = 46000/nos

I then visited them, The containers I were offered were about 40% good, they had come to the end of there working life.

I now plan to try and buy s/h containers direct from the shipping / haulage companies, Laem Chabang, Chonburi I believe is the best place to search, I understand that there are several companies from Chonburi, that list in Yellow Pages,

Thanks for your reply. I went to Container const yesterday. I bought 2x 40 footers 75% condition including survery for 50000.00 baht each. They are in good condition. They are getting more in April. I will need 2 more then and in May.

If you dont mind a bunch of tourist the 83rd floor of the Bayoke Sky Tower 2 put on a good spread. Food ranges from seafood, Italian, Indian, Japanese and deserts It is not romantic but has the best view in Bkk at 83 floors up. There also is a interesting museum and a revolving observation deck. All for the price of 640 baht per person.

Its not 5 star but is worth the visit. Its good to take visitors to as well. The name of the restaurant is Crystal Grill on the 83rd floor.

The house wine is 600 baht a bottle and is not bad either.

There is a big hotel in suriwong that has a fantastic buffet

The Bon Cafe shop has them.. Bought some there a couple of Months back..They are a big round tablet like an 'alka seltza' Dislolve in water then run thru the machine..

Thanks for the info. My machine has an aluminum boiler and vinegar is harmful to aluminum. On machines with aluminum internal parts vinegar should never be used. The powder type descaler I am looking for is made from Monohydrate Citric Acid which removes the scale deposits without harming the aluminum. I will go check out Bon Cafe next time I am out in the Huay Kwang area.

Coffee Choice in Rama 9 have a powder mix. You buy a blank group cup insert into group head and activate for 10 seconds. You will be amazed how much comes out. I used it in my coffee shop and it work well. Goggle coffee choice and you see their web site.
