It appears that you cannot give Mr. Ken Money. You must help him out in a different way. We need a person with money and a heart to go with him to Uk Embassy( Give the Embassy employee 50 Quid and a passport.), followed by a trip to immigration(20K Fine fee) and a ticket to the UKVI and a ride to the airport. What I am simply saying is that he is in the wrong country. He probably loves Thailand. He needs to be back in the UK where he can get some kind of income like a social cheque and medical care. He does not have to live in cold England, Wales, Scotland, the Isle of man, The Channel Islands, or Northern Ireland. He can be homeless in the nice weathered UK Virgin Islands, sleep on the beach , get a cheque, and medical care.

Japanese guy in front of me was not allowed to exit, and was told that he needed to by an onward ticket out of Thailand at the travel agency nearby.

When the lady got to me, she also asked me for an onward ticket out of Thailand (even if I have a B visa), but her supervisor overheard her and said that I don't need one because I have a B visa.

What are you taking about? A tourist visa is 25 USD per entry. The maximum entries allowed is four, which means for 100 USD you can get a one year tourist visa.

A single entry tourist visa is valid for 60 days plus 30 days more for 1900 Baht at an immigration office. After that you would have to go to a Thai Embassy or Consulate for another Tourist visa. I personally recommend the Thai Consulate in Kota Bharu, Malaysia.

Just get a one year tourist visa.

It cannot be done if you are crossing a border, but if you flying from one country to another it can be done.

You will have to this from October 1, 2006- The visa runs will not end, but you can only do three for every six months. This is what you have to do: 3 visa runs and go to the Thai Consulate in either Laos, Cambodia, or Malaysia and apply for a tourist visa which gives you two months and one month extension at the immigration office. This will be the new pattern for all you visa runners. You are going to have to spend more money that is all. I wish the Thai Government did not enact this stupid anti-farang regulation.

I think foreign Ministry is just talking in the air. I mean criminal background checks take at least two weeks to verify and checking educational backgrounds take even longer. John Karr had a criminal record, but his educational background was good in fact he was a teacher in the states.
