our muaythai classes are taught by an ex champ and are free for previous members of boxer rebellion an dothers who express a genuine desire to learn

Anti-flu drug ready for new round of A(H1N1) flu

BANGKOK, Nov 3 (TNA) – Thailand's Government Pharmaceutical Organisation (GPO) and hospitals nationwide have stockpiled some 35 million capsules of the anti-flu drug 'Oseltamivir' for a possible second round of A(H1N1) virus outbreak, said Dr Vithit Attavijjakul, GPO director.

Dr Vithit said that about 35 million capsules of the anti-viral drug are available at Thailand's upcountry hospitals as well as the GPO office, aiming to handle the new wave of the A(H1N1) pandemic in an approaching cool season.

Meanwhile, the raw materials are available to produce a new lot of additional medication of 40 million capsules.

Regarding the children's formula of the anti-flu drug Oseltamivir, Dr Vithit said that the 30,000 to 40,000 capsules could be distributed immediately in all areas if needed.

The GPO is ready to produce more anti-flu drugs for children.

In addition, the GPO has stored lots of hand wash gel and sanitary masks to prevent the upcoming wave of Influenza Type A (H1N1) spread.

The GPO contacted local producers to make cloth sanitary masks to supply the GPO as they can be reused and help save costs.

Some European countries like Germany, Spain and France have expressed interest in GPO-produced hand gel, so the organisation plans to register its hand gel formula with the food and drug administrations in those countries.

After it is registered, Thailand expects to receive orders from overseas and build confidence in the country's production's standard. (TNA)

I have never once been expected to pay for more than her and one other friend/sister and thats only when we go to expensive places of my choosing. Short story from some 1h ago:

Sitting in a minivan that goes a direct-route from a BKK-suburb to a central location (one of the main biz-streets for companies) and due to the van being packed I decide not to wrestle out my headset from my bag and subsequently I am wide awake the whole trip while other commuters dose off. I'm in the position furthest to the back, in the middle. Infront and to the left of me is a 26-30 year thai male sitting, around some 1.7m tall, decently dressed. Immediately infront of him there is a woman sitting that I often see traveling to work at the same time. She is some 38-42 years old and think she works as some manager at a bank not too far from my office.

Some minutes into the ride I notice the guy is holding the flip-down seats backrest, the one the woman is sitting on. Nothing wrong with that, people do it a lot of times to maintain balance in a bumpy ride. Perhaps it was the fact that it wasn't bumpy or the fact that his index finger was partly extended that caught my eye. I after a while see how he slowly pushes his hand forward around the backrest, as to touch the woman. I assume he wants to make contact, perhaps to negotiate the positioning of the curtains. No contact is made and is hand is slowly withdrawn.

A little while later he is back, this time he slowly does the same thing again but with his index finger more clearly extended, and move the hand and finger across her side.

"Did he just try to get some side-boob feeling?" I ask myself.

"No, what kind of pervert would do that?" I tell myself and shake it off.

A while later the woman is leaning slightly forward (presumably for being hot against the backseat or perhaps due to feeling un-easy for some reason) and he is back with his hand. This time he doesn't reach around, but he moves his finger-top across the womans (through the fabric visible as outlines) bra. Now I'm sure. He isn't doing this by accident.

So up the cellphone camera comes.

For is there one thing I have been able to learn; always get evidence if you are going to make a fuss about anything here. You are a foreigner and he could easily talk his way out of it infront of the others or his victim.

So when he comes back for another go I am ready with the camera. By this time I think he is suspecting someone is on to him. He glances partly back between his tries and they are slightly more subtle. Slightly harder to catch. Not as obvious for his sleeping fellow travelers. But I get it on camera. So I decide to confront him as we have almost reached our destination and people are starting to get off in their locations, making it unlikely he will go for another try.

So eventually I turn on the camera, tap hm on the shoulder and inform him that I have him on camera and now I have his face too.

Eventually I get off, inform him again of what I have and then run up to the woman in question and inform her of what I have. From her reactions she was suspecting there was something going on with him (hence why she leaned forward probably) and thanked me for showing the clips. I gave her my biz-card and told her to contact me and I can give her all the clips if she wants them.

What would you have done differently?

(And I did mention to the guy in question that if I see him do this on any other trip [assuming I see him again] I would put them on 'the internet'.)

but theres many violent types of action

all usually wrong ( even war to be honest is all dam_n wrong)

some guys just flip, something triggers them, and a threat to their child is a common trigger

be easy on the dude

believe me i seen the most peaceful looking dude go to totally unrational being

there is common but misunderstood area that comes into play here

when a man has his blood kin threatened it deeply affects something deep within them

often the real victim of, say rape for example is the husband because he is left to deal with the questions

maybe i should do something ? how can i let him get away with it? should i bust his balls? could i down more?

remember- this poor guy is also a victim too

saying things like you should fxxx him up your should not make threats

this does not help one bit

this can lead to all sorts of complications

feeling of inadequecy, feeling that the guy did not provide what a man ought to do- and this can sting

My step daughter who is 14 was out yesterday evening with a school friend at some concert by Tops, informed me on the way home that some 50 yo + farang pervert had approached her and asked her "go back my room" as well as asking for her number..... she actually looks about 12 so no way could she be mistaken for 16 let alone 18.. she has been warned about these leeches so ran away....i was having dinner with the mrs a few sois away so had left them alone for a couple of hours..

Well, i was (am) absolutely fuming and looking back if i had been there i would have definately kicked the living sh*t out out of him.... i mean it !!!! just wondering what kind of support i would get from the local police if i was arrested ?? especially wouldn't want any immrigration issues but some scum like that just makes my blood boil.. preying on kids at Thai concerts ..

I fully sympathise with you and would feel similar but to be honest, you have mouthed a lot of tough guy stuff and then meekly asked on here what the consequences would be. I would say that if you really were going to "kicked the living sh*t out out of him.... i mean it !!!! " you wouldn't be asking for advice on here.

If he's confused then it means he's not really a violent guy and that's why he's asking for advice. I fully understand that. I'm making the point that actually he's only likely to be violent in his head. I doubt he would be violent to the guy in reality. He's fantasising what he should do and he won't be kicking the shit out of anyone unless it happened in a flash at the time, rather than sometime after the event. If he really was the violent type, he wouldn't be concerned with the consequences of his actions - he would just do it naturally.
