I was/am VERY interested in sat-nav unit but unfortunately none of them have a good Thailand map. As previously mentioned the independent company, ESRI has done a good job on the Bangkok area but has neglected the rest of the country. It's understandable because of the limited demand. No demand = no decent product.

Not true any more, they have just released a new unit with full thailand coverage for 14000 baht,, a bargain, the map to buy for another unit is 12000,.

have you got a link to this gps for 14000 with thai map?whih model is it and where can i find it?

Now, how about finishing the skytrain to beyond Ratchadapisek road in Thonburi which is at least 3 km. Surely the traffic jams on Saphan Taksin and Sathorn Road would diminish if some of those thousands of car owners could jump onto the skytrain. Makes one wonder why the holdup. (Oh yes, T.I.T.) Perhaps the bus and ferry operators have something to do with it or maybe it's just a case of the Skytrain operating company has no extra money to lay the tracks.(Must be the only thing in Bangkok that's not getting laid.) It would make a great track for motorcycle races too.

good point,what i mean is if you to to picky then you might never be lucky,so you might as well have to allow on one or two of the points

i found her,married her and live with her in england,so vyou got no chance of meeting her,but i'm sure there is many more in los and you might get lucky,just don't be to picky.

and another point is her family is great too,doesn't drain money out of us etc.

can't wait to come back to los soon and eventually live there

went shopping with my wife when she told me she want by some orikander,took me a little time to work out she wanted coriander.

when we stayed with my parents in germany we noticed after a week or so,that their gray parrot talks funny after a bit we found out,that my wife has been teaching her thai,she was very good at it,can't say the same about me

i wan't go anywhere exccept thailand as i love it so much,been there many times and my wife is thai,so evenyually we will settle there

works well here in guernsey,big business,but you pay for,same as taxi fare and the driver comes with a little fold up motor bike puts it in the boot of your car,drives you home and you got your car home for next day and he can go away with bike,great idea
