  1. In the Netherlands we have compulsory health insurance, although we do have a choice of insurance company's, unfortunately there is very little difference in fees or services. This costs me 150 Euros per month plus the first 385 Euros of any claim is payable by me as my own risk, so for me if I choose to live in Thailand 300 bhat a month would be a very good deal.
  2. I do know if you try to use your feet to move something or point to something when with Thai people somebody is almost certain to say ''muer farang'' the ''hand of a foreigner'' and generally said in a derogatory way.
  3. Yeah me too, thought I must have fallen off the mailing list, where is that man?
  4. I don't think facial recognition software will very well when everyone is wearing a mask that covers half of the face.
  5. Absolutely, my wife and I are in the same situation as you.
  6. Agree, except I would say that when everyone who wants to be vaccenated is then yes you have to open up. Eventually everyone will catch Covid-19 whatever you do, survival or not may well depend on your vaccination status, me I'm Pfizered up so let it go.
  7. Crossing a busy road in Thailand is always dangerous with or without a Zebra, its best to wait for a whole bunch of people to build up then cross together but try not to be the last one.
  8. It doesn't matter it the masks are effective or not, they certainly wont protect you from COVID. The point is to when in a foreign country obey the local rules and culture even if you find it to ridiculous, what ever happened to ''when in Rome''
