Let the competition for guessing his nationality start.  ????

From his dance moves, I get the feeling he either lives here, or has been here many times.  If so, he should know he is not dressed appropriately for a temple.  He also looks a little unsteady on his feet as well, and not from the dancing.  He may have been intoxicated.

In the clip, we can't see what he is seeing, but you can see the chairs laid out for a gathering, but rather than keep a low profile and let the Thai's do their thing, and just observe, this guy draws attention to himself.

Depending on how the Thai's take this clip, he may get some attention from authorities.

Like many things that go viral on the internet, you either become famous, or arrested, or both.  ????

    You become famous or infamous.

Some countries have a tax agreement with Thailand.

By the way yes lots of people get it paid directly here.

UK pensions are taxed in UK so do not attract Thai tax, not sure on all the other countries.

However Thai law states that income into Thailand in the year it is earned is liable to Thai tax.

I receive my UK pension in the Netherlands free of UK tax but do have to pay tax on it in the Netherlands.

  3. Sensing a huge SNAFU coming our way.. Better stock up some cash wink.png

May I suggest doing a balance check, with proof, or an electronic passbook update before the fun starts ?

From what I've seen and heard it's not fun to have a dispute with a Thai bank who seem to operate the old fairground rule of ' fallen darts not returned ' so any documentary evidence might help if the event of something going wrong.

I don't think there is any need for you to start suggesting to the gullible that Thai banks are going to be robbing their customers money.

No I think even the gullible know that already.
  4. The problem is exacerbated by the habit of passengers opening the front door to tell drivers their destination. This gives drivers the easy option of declining. I don't know why people just don't get in the back and then tell the driver where they want to go ( probably because of fear of being kicked out with menace? ).

I think this goes back to the day when there were no meters and you had to haggle the fair before you got in, then haggle again because all the lights were red or the traffic was too heavy. Yeah the good old days.

  5. Troll

Tend to agree...acts as if he's never been kissed.

Actually I just read it again. He is talking about a bar girl. Wanting to take her out as a friend, not for sex. He is asking does he need to pay her for this companionship.

OP very quickly get down to a book shop and buy a copy of Private Dancer by Stephen Leather. Read it, understand it..... Then read it again!

Try reading A Woman of Bangkok by Jack Reynolds if you can find a copy, gives some insight.

  6. the Russian is obviously vibrating on a very low frequency if he couldn't identify a transexual for what he was. he being the operative word. I mean the whole issue is that she was a he. why the PC brigade insist on calling a he a she is beyond me. i mean if a lesbian dresses like a man (Tom i think it is refered to in thailand) then would we call her a him. No of course not!

The Pattaya mail isnt obviously brain washed by the PC liberal nonsense and calls a spade a spade ..

"Police charged both men with public fighting. "

My Thai lesbian (tom) niece calls her/his self Mr and has a wife.
