  1. Last year I saw a man with malaria waiting to see a doctor in Chumphon hospital, he was in obvious discomfort, delerious and vomiting clear mucus, if that was the common malaria I would not want to be infected with this new variety.

    Posted with Thaivisa App http://apps.thaivisa.com

How many readers have had malaria? Well FYI I have had it on my return from West Africa 1996, got bitten while at airport awaiting my return, as luck had been favorable I developed the full disease on my return...I went to hospital and local Dr. puzzled as all the signs did not comply with normal disease found in Canada. A specialist look at my case..he was specialized in "Foreign Disease" yes I had Malaria. I was given treatment and recovered. FYI I can not give blood for 10yrs as I had to complete the donor quiz before giving, having had malaria.

I would like to share this information concerning Malaria... http://www.themiracl...supplement.com/

Miracle Mineral Supplement interview with “Mr. MMS” Jim Humble!

If you prefer to rather listen to the interview:

According to Jim Humble, it all started…

In mid 1996, deep within the mining jungles of South America, a United States scientist, named Jim Humble, made an almost accidental discovery…

An alternative discovery that would supposedly change the course of human health history forever?

Jim said, it started with malaria…

Caused by a protozoan parasite, this disease kills over one million people every year.

According to Jim Humble, after more than 75,000 documented successful treatments of this disease (see his book for more information), many of which took effect in less than 4 hours, it was discovered to have similar effects on diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungi and proteins.

In the summer of 2007, this man stepped out of the shadows to make this information and natural solution freely available to all humanity. He believes the long-term availability of this substance (called “miracle mineral supplement” or shortly “mms”) may soon be heavily controlled by “the powers that be”.

I trust this information will benefit you and your family...Mr. Ron

FYI I have brought this mixture in dry form from Canada and use it on a regular basis, prevention is best way, like taking a multivitamin daily.

A supplier here in Thailand can be posted on request.

I only heard positive reports about MMS from people I know who used it. It also improves other illnesses and doesn't compromise your health as all allopathic anti-malaria pills do.

I would like to know the address where one can get the stuff in Thailand. It is supposed to be very cheap as it is based on a common household disinfectant IIRC. I've been in Thailand for about 8 months total until now (always in the winter) but would like to be sure to stay healthy the next time around. I will stay close to Chumphon, too - not that I've heard about malaria happening there ...

  2. The Thai culture is totally different from the Western culture. They are mainly Buddhists and believe in karma, everyone eventually gets what he/she deserves and "shit happens", too. Look how many of them wear helmets. Mai pen rai.

If you come to Thailand and stay for a while you have to accept that or get lost. Actually I like that attitude more than the Western one, that's why I keep coming back. If you focus on the bad possibilites too much you will only make your life miserable and still not be able to avoid your accidents.

    Just my 2 cents.

  3. The big state terrorists are obsessed with terrorism. It's their war, why do they have to impinge on other countries so much? They go to other countries, bomb the shit out of them, and then tell their citizens terrorists are out to get them. What a joke.

Regular warnings keeps the fear level going. That's all it is. If terrorists are out to get american citizens, easier to con the american citizens that their government need to fight all these 'wars'. And if the american government don't want citizen terrorists to attack american citizens, then they should stop attacking other countries. Then there'd be no reason to attack americans. Easy enough no?

    Blowback anyone?

Right on the money dude! Thanx.

  4. great photo.......at least great for a sick movie....

This photo is normal for the LOS. I saw others where a murderer re-enacted his vicious deed before police and a camera with a big smile on his face.

And when an English lady had been raped by a Thai and told the police about it they refused to write down her statement but insisted on "polite" wordings like "he (the rapist) asked if he could rape me" huh.gif

When the ugly truth keeps intruding into the friendly Thai world it simply is denied access. Keep smiling, whatsoever rolleyes.gif

  5. I need to do a run to Ranong this month. I read in this forum that there is an organized visa trip to Ranong two times daily from Chumphon for about 750 baht if you have your own 10-dollar note. Does it still exist and did someone here use that service? I suppose they use a minivan and speak English. Maybe I could join them at Sawi.

Last year I did the run cycling on my own and slept at a wat, it was a long and beautiful but rather wet trip. This time I would like to do a quick and easy one.

  6. Thaksin and his family/proxies are globalists - no wonder the puppet Obama and the banksters like them. I prefer the stance of the king, to keep out of the global scam and push for Thai independence, moving more people from the cities to work on the land and create real wealth and self-support before the international vampires get a real hold on Thailand, too.

  7. Hi,

When I came back from my last trip to Cambodia and Thailand I realized I didn't like Europe any more and that my only way to live in Thailand was with a Thai woman.

My former partner had died of cancer 5 years ago and I was beyond all grief and decided to try again ...

Since Januari I tried the dating sites, a thing I never thought of before because of all the bad propaganda. But it worked for me although my friends still think I'm crazy.

I used only free sites, ThaiLoveOnline, FindLoveAsia, Goodthaigirl and TrueLoveAsia. I don't like TLA, it's more like a sex-oriented site but you can find nice normal ladies too. But it is half-commercial.

On ThaiLoveOnline the use of Thai language is forbidden. FindLoveAsia is also a good site for normal Thai ladies but it is a bit crowded by Filipinas which can be quite aggressive - or is it desperate? - in their approach. Goodthaigirl is also a good site although it has a somewhat mixed kettle of fish and has become commercial lately. But when you are online you will get loads of winks and views.

I found my new love on ThaiLoveOnline, the first site I tried, it is run by an Aussie guy named George and totally free for farang men, I became a Gold member immediately whilst all the Thai ladies are Standard members. She is a nice beautiful lady who was left by her husband 10 years ago when she was pregnant. This is another thing I always found: Thai men seem to be the apex of machismo and all the ladies in the dating sites are avoiding them, looking only for a farang.

I will visit her in October and we will give it a try for 3 months. We are e-mailing, chatting on MSN with video and sending each other SMS messages since January. Actually she was one of my first contacts, I had almost a hundred nice-looking alternatives but she kept coming back although I told her about my other contacts. Finally I tired of giving false hope to all the other women and realized what a treasure I had found and became dedicated to her.

I can only recommend online dating if you are not too naive and prepared to give it a lot of time. Eventually you will find the woman of your dreams. Thai women are generally very dedicated and faithful. They will do anything for their men if they care for them and are faithful too. I know some friends with Thai wives and they are happy campers ...

    Just my 2¢.

    Jörg.

  8. Maybe faster to load,

but this page format is sooooooo slooooooow to uuuuuuse,

that I have hardly wanted to log in because the frustration factor is so great!

    That bad.

    It is all kludge;

pages don't scroll, typing is 30 seconds beyond actually typed, much of the time,

and worse with more than one page Tab open like Live Today page,

and a reading page. Pages come up fast, but take a full minute or more

to settle down enough to scroll and read, and still they jump around or freeze.

I have tried Firefox, Opera, Camino and Safari.

Something is incompatible and I am ready to move else where.

No doubt that will please several posters....

Teething pains aside. All in all this has been a distinct backwards move. IMO.

Not what you wanted to hear, but my reality.

I experience the same. If I open 3 or more Thaivisa pages everything stops and I' stuck with the spinning beachball (Mac OSX). I have to force-quit my browser and start afresh. Typing this is a major PITA and a severe exercise in keeping my patience. In the status bar it says "Read widgets.amung.us" all the time. Get rid of those widgets! And get rid of Flash too, it is getting worse with every "upgrade".

Whew! Typing this post has taken me more than 10 minutes and my Mac is no slouch otherwise ...

    Regards, Jörg.

  9. Hi,

I'll be flying to Bangkok on December 2nd with a bicycle in a carton box. I have to leave the box at the airport and will be cycling in Thailand and Cambodia for six weeks. When I fly back I will need another box.

These carton boxes are used to ship new bikes to the dealers so they are obsolete after unpacking the bikes. I would like to know where I can pick up such a box to use for my return flight from Bangkok.

Do you know any (big) bicycle dealers in Bangkok where I could ask for one? It would be great if they have internet so I could contact them easily. Thank you.

    Kind regards, Jörg.
