Been riding in Phuket since the late 80's no drama's so far.....Bike rentals are everywhere. Check the brakes are OK though.

Recently spent a month in Phuket and astounded by the amount of people wearing a mask but no helmet....more worried about catching a cold (covid) than saving their head in an accident...????

Got our refund in August....But Thai won't be on my list of airlines in the future...Another airline to avoid is Air Asia we ended up flying to KL before heading elsewhere to talk to a human to sort our our loss best I could do is vouchers....Maybe we should pay for our flight at the end like a taxi ride...that would help fix service from these airlines...????
