Splitlid I'm sure is joking and you Naam have enjoyed it with the laughing icon. Good on ya. It actually is a credit to the whole mob that by page 33 now after George started it rolling, that speaks volumes how it is really not boring as splitlid jokes.

We've all learnt to remain "gentlemen" with Naam leading the way, and sooo much about Georges question "living off grid with small solar systems". This would have to be a TVN record? well done guys.

it's not the thread which is painful Joe but individual baseless assumptions when it pertains to "cooling".

by the way, my wife claims i was a gentleman... many rainy seasons ago wink.png

    How about car radiators?

Shirley an option to look into George.

  2. Years ago, I worked for a telecoms company and was responsible for the construction and delivery of 800 containers throughout Thailand. Each container was lined with 50mm compressed fiber boards, sprayed insulation in the floor and special 'ceramic' paint for 'reflection' and 'insulation' on all external surfaces.

Most of the inspections and builds were completed in a covered factory environment. Each was installed with 2 a/c units.(one had to working 24hrs a day).

Inside with the a/c off and door closed the temperature was exactly the same as outside. Even after the a/c had been running for a while and then turned off, the container heated up quicker than a Campbell's tomato soup in a microwave.

A whirly bird will do nothing, but replace hot air with hot air.

people can come up with all sorts of method The only way to cool them down is as per Naans method.

  3. I agree with the first part of what you said, but not the bit about having problems selling the house/land later.

It's common for the construction permit to be in a different name to the land deed, and it has no bearing on the house ownership when the house is sold with a contract as the OP intends to do.

Yes it is common however, a contract does not legally transfer ownership of a house. It is still registered in the original owners name unless it is changed at the land dept. by registering the house and paying relevant taxes.

Really not sure what your on about....the house was not registered separately to someone different. So...ownership of the house (unless otherwise registered with the land office...which it is NOT) goes with the land. Not sure if you read the thread but OP IS going to the land office to buy the land and house together. Apparently on that same day they are going to sign contracts and tranfer ownership.

The house doesn't have to registered at the land office for proof of ownership. Ownership If not registered at the land dept belongs to who's name is on the Tor ror 900

  5. The only way to have ownership of the house is either register it in your name when you apply for the Tor ror 900. (Build permit in your name also). Or, transfer the house at the land dept. taxes involved. But house can be in your name. Other than that there will always be issues with the ownership especially if you want to sell it on later.
