Execellent. For those who complain, no one asked you to start a 'business' in Thailand. Somehow foreigners stil think that Thai need them, think twice. Most Thai having university degrees are very well educated whether it is IT, economics etc and can work at any Multi National. For the small 'businesses' I think it is completely logic government helps to protect Thai interest.

Okay,,,Yes Thais are so capable persons ?So then we no longer need to give them our houses, land ,hotels companies and whatever else they used to get for free from us.

Government its twisted instead of saying : Hey foreigners you can not invest in anything in Thailand.

Any random thai will love to get the 51 % of your hotel mate.It never a problem finding such a person.They get it free and control whatever the business is that u invested in .land ,company what ever..And if you happy with your 49% of completely nothing then good luck to you...

Well since that scum admitted the crime so then i assume they will dothe same as with those killers in Samui give them the max of 90 days in jail then do not prepare a legal case and so they then need to be released again and can happily continue their studies..

But if you can't find an astute Thai business man who is willing to invest 51% to get that ownership, you're either not looking hard enough or you have a crappy business plan.

One of the Thai guys who works with me just built his 5th hotel in one of the major tourist islands. All profitable. Started by buying a tiny patch of land and now he's got a financial empire. He works it part time on the days he's not offshore working for us.

I'd love for him to own 51% of anything I'd do here. Because 49% of something is better than 100% of griping and moaning.

I am about to buy a plot of land in Hua Hin.I like to register the land in my childs her name.She has also the Thai nationality.

I been told by the land office to bring my child and her thai mother in person at the land office for the registration of the plot.

However the Thai mother of my child has recently sadly passed away.My question is can i still register the plot in my childs name without her Mother co signing any documents?I wonder how the thai law is for this particular unique sad situation.We can of course provide documents stating her death.

You can get a 2 entry in Hanoi or Manila but will need tickets out of the country for each entry.

Been living here for the last 4 years on a study educational visa.It will expire this September.

Instead of extending my ED visa for another year i may have other idea.

It my plan to make a one week holiday in September to some asian country nearby example Vietnam Philipines etc.

Then apply there for an double entry tourist visa for Thailand that will allow me then to stay a couple of months in Thailand and that is probably long enough for me as i not plan to stay another full year here.

My question is can i obtain in Vietnam and or Philipines at the Thai embassey there a double entry tourist visa for Thailand?If not could i apply in another country for this or perhaps up on arrival at Survanibul Airport?

Where in Phuket can i buy big size wooden (outdoor) benches ? I saw some shops on the by pass road but maybe there are more shops that i can visit.Hopefully they have some stock of these wooden benches.

Most these shops are able to custom make benches  however if i can see in their showroom the model that i like  then it easier for them to make it in the size that i desire.
