like said before you wil have an overstaystamp in your new paspoort BUT there shouldent be any problem for future traveling to Thailand and future visa's.

On the other hand the floodings are a while ago you mentioned you didnt have the money etc. But in the future i would try to have never never overstay in this country and i think you know where you are if you speak "good and polite"Thai.

I suppose this was in Thailand?By my knowledge i can be wrong but don't you get deported and blacklisted after you done your time???Back in the time you could easy fix to stay but that time is over these days I know only of some foreign drugdealers that are"allowed" to stay and work with the police and ofcourse for themself but never heard of foreigners that could stay after offences like this in recent years but then again i could be wrong.

The Army seem to have killed over 80 innocent civilians in Bangkok and got away with it............ seems that wearing a red shirt also allows the military to shoot you with no protection from the government, in fact, its with the governments blessing and support it seems.

Hopefully we will see Abhisit and Suthep and others in the International Criminal Court in 5 or 10 years time, being brought before the judiciary (not a coup appointed Thai one) to account for what they did and defend their actions in a non biased court and system.
