The weird part is that just about every market in Thailand openly sells them. You tell me.

Pretty serious business this in shutting down a company under any free trade agreement. Not the sort of thing to win friends and influence people. Thailand will pay.

Last week I had to do both re-entry and 90 day. I arrived at 8.50 am and was out in 20 minutes. Having lived here for 35 years I near passed out when my number was called to get my passport at the re-entry, such was the shock. So big kudos to Immigration for the changes made.

I understand the manager of the supermarket is from Foodland. Additionally there is a restaurant inside modeled on the Foodland as well, food is very nice and reasonable. I am sure the supermarket will do very well and is a great addition to those of us who dread crossing Sukhumvit. The adjacent Shell service station is also a welcome addition.

Hate walking street, so the quicker the change, the better.
Knock it all down and start again.
Why on earth did you come here then if you hate it so furiously? Your reply will be interesting.

Cannot speak highly enough of Dr Attaporn, l am currently having treatment for branch retinal vein occlusion with her.

What a load of codswallop. In addition to this TM6 we have to report next day to immigration to report our address which is already on the TM6 and if this id not enough we have to report again in 90 days to report our address again.
Suffice to say you don't have to have an MBA to know where all the staff are employed and the reason there is not enough staff at the airports.
Just simply amazing.

One should put this in context where the losses from the rice scheme exceeded 500 billion baht. The whole nation is up in arms for a 13 billion baht submarine which is a drop in the bucket to Yingluk's rice losses. She may not have been part of it but as prime minister she certainly knew who was doing what and to whom. Guilty as charged.

This is a preface for all newly elected politicians to allow them to undertake this discipline before they qualify to take the seat in parliament.
Dr Pisit is a disgrace to his profession.

Does anyone know about the following: A friend returned this week from Europe and was told by another friend he had to report to immigration with his address (even after putting it on his T.M. form). Went to Soi 5 yesterday and sure enough 2 new desks had been set up for this purpose. He filled in the appropriate form and was given a receipt for it - similar to the 90 day but hand written. He believes there is a penalty if you do not do this.
Can anyone shed light on this?

Surprise on a couple of fronts this morning. Told the girl at the counter I was there for both 90 day and re-entry permit. Other people around me were given the questionnaire to fill in and get the photos but I was just given a ticket for the re-entry first and told to come see her when finished. This took 5 minutes and then back to see the girl and was given the 90 day ticket but no form and was then out of there in 20 minutes. What an experience.
I saw people around me with the form waiting for 90 day and it seems to me that if one was to just leave the blank form on the empty seat then I would imagine there would be no problem. Just saying.

Would be very careful trying to do myself - came off a long flight with one blocked and after2 self attempts , went to the hospital and found that it was fluid in the inner ear caused by flying with a cold. Doctor advised that it should clear in 4 weeks which it did.

This all reminds me of many years ago when the law enforcement agencies were going to round up the godfathers of the country and put a stop to their activities. Well it transpired that they sent a force of 50 or more to the Kaman Poh in Chonburi and then proceeded to his compound in riot gear and, of course, they had to ring the bell first and wait for someone to open the compound.
Sound similar?

In my days of working with international hotel chains there were 2 locks but no master key to gain access to both locks. In the event of a lost key then locks had to be drilled with the guest paying for this together with the new locks. Just sayin'.

2 great places to eat but access is temporarily obstructed by road construction.
Suggestions on Pattanakarn Rd is superb and has a 3 course menu for 295 bht - superb food.
The second one is the Italian restaurant about 200 metres further down, not aircon but more than makes up with standard and quality of food.

Have used Dr Glass before - an excellent job and very polite and courteous staff. Also give a guarantee but forget how long.

I can honestly vouch for Dr Waraporn. I have been seeing her for over 10 years and her professionalism is something to behold and appreciated. She recently discovered a suspicious mole on my back and after it tested positive for melanoma she successfully operated and removed all the tumour. However my twice yearly visit is always painful as she applies the liquid nitrogen to well over 100 parts of my body starting with the face and ears. So no complaints and every satisfaction.
