Sister in law got done two weeks ago aged 35- priority as nanny to a rich family!. She was told not to mention it on social media and today no signs about what was going on were visible outside Index

Just seen a message that they sending out mini vans to reach elderly people to get vaccinated, so people not on priority list get vaccinated while there are still many people out there with much higher risk  to get serious sick still waiting.

So some people will die because of lack of management of vaccination process , and terrible greedy people and companies who can't wait till its there turn to received their vaccination shots

Saw hundreds of company workers getting vaccinated today in the basement of Index Living mall Bkk, some looked like teenagers and nobody looked over 40.

so are all priority  listed people vaccinated or do they generate a new priority list that allowed companies or people to received vaccinations even if they not yet belong to first and second on priority list? And is this happening because they made a donation.

funny enough I was told that it costs 1100 Baht for a test in Nonthaburi, and that was for my MIL

Testing is free for if been exposed to the virus (and how you can prove that???? nobody knows) other people who want to get tested without having been exposed to the virus have to pay for the test themselves. So with a few symptoms going to a hospital they just charge you and up to you if you want to be tested or make a u turn and possible spread the virus.

Free if test result is positive, get charged otherwise

Incorrect nothing to do with the result, on 24 December government announced that Testing is free if been exposed to the virus,  other people who want to get tested without having been exposed to the virus have to pay for the test themselves.

  5. I am in and out of the hospital with health problems over the last months, and had close contacts with healthcare workers, they all understood that the government did not want to test, they do not want to know the results.

Now testing immigrants first is a great opportunity to confirm that they were successful keeping the virus out of Thailand and creating a COVID free haven for tourists, now they can blame the immigrants for the upcoming problems, and get the necessary figure in placed by testing immigrants first.

Only on 24 December government announced that Testing is free for Thais  if been exposed to the virus other people who want to get tested without having been exposed to the virus have to pay for the test themselves.

So even with having a few symptoms and cannot prove to be exposed to the virus, who is going to pay between 3500 and 14.000 for a test?

One of the doctors I talked to said very clearly, stock up necessary goods and stay home.

And maybe its time to start praying

don't take any risks, keep people with no or less discipline under control at home, Stay safe and take care your family

    May God bless you all

Plus it would look like a Pakistani owned the house. For some reason they love it. They think it looks classy and expensive. See lots of it in England in places like Bradford and Southall.

Enclosing walls like this are build on pylons in many places in Thailand. These pylons don't need to be as deep as those for houses.

Place gravel along side your wall as surface cover to create a neat permeable finish.

I think, your choices would be limited. I.e. what soil is available within the area. If you only have some heavy clay soil, I would recommend to have sand for your garden area that you can cover with humus. Areas for roads and buildings should just have additional layers of gravel on top of the soil. Local builders tend to use sand for this instead to marginal reduce cost; not a good idea I'd say.

Where abouts in Thailand will this be?

PS: @Crossy, this might be better in the DIY forum.

Kanchanaburi, thank you for the reply

  9. Hello all,

we bought a few rai land (rice paddy) and start next year to develop it into a place to retired for me and my wife.

    Few questions:

I planning to build a 3 meter wall all around the area, the problem i am looking at is the area between my land and a rice paddy, how to prevent erosion and keep the wall standing up.

House will be 2 or 3 floors (parking area for cars on first floor) size about 12 x 22 meters. reinforce concrete or steel construction?

(first floor wide doors and all on elderly standards and sizes so when i need to move around in a wheelchair i do not need any constructional changes),

I need to raise the land, some i get from the fishing pound i make but mostly need to buy, any advice on soil for construction sites ( building and roads)

    and gardens area's.

Thank you all and have a great day.

Most nationals can extend their permission to stay from visa exempt entry for another 30 days.

    Fee is 1900 Baht.

    What nationality do you have?

Be aware: immigration closed on Monday, Oct 23 and Thursday Oct 26.

    Will likely be very busy.

Guess that is the stamp in your passport, reading "ADMITTED UNTIL" 27 OCT 2017?

Thank you very much, i am dutch
