  1. Can anyone reccomend serviced style apartments for a 3 month rent starting around 1 December.

I have booked 2 weeks at the opium serviced aparments for the middle of November but they don't have availability for long term, same with smith suites which looked very good.

My budget is around 20-30k a month, onsite cleaning, pool , gym and a balcony would be perfect.

    Cheers

  3. Hi,

I will be coming to CM on the 14th November for two weeks with the main purpose of cycling. I would like to stay outside the moat

close to the Nimman area, budget around 1000 baht a night.

Looking for: WI-FI, basic cooking facilities, quiet location but close to the cafes/ restaurants. In a dream world would have facility to clean bike but this is not essential.

    Thanks

  4. Hi,

I will arrive back in Samui on the 10th of December. Im looking for advice on any decent offroad routes around Samui.

Last time I did the Maenam Soi 5 over to Lamai but just stuck to the concrete road.

Anyboy got any advice or even better anybody care to meet up for a bit of biking? I am not that experienced offroad but have a good level

    of cycling fitness.

    Cheers

  5. Thanks for the advice guys some good info there,I'll get the stool test down at BPH. I know they will be dieing to perfom endoscopy in order to bump up the price but I think it best to explore the other options first.

I do have a decent diet, i was running half marathons before this happened and have no family history of bowel disorder.

It sounds bad but I hope it is a parasite that the blood test did not pick up rather than something chronic.

Hopefully BPH can sort me out, they always get mixed review.

  6. For the last 8 weeks I have been suffering from diarrhea almost every day, mild upset stomach and

gas. It has prevailed every day some days have been worse than others with varying symptoms. Ive been going to the toilet up to 7 times a day.

Obviousely this is causing me stress but apart from that I feel fine I am not dehydrated or fatigued. I was prescribed Metronidazole but this not help.

Can anyone advise a good gastrologist preferabely in Pattaya but Bangkok is okay. Im hoping it is some

sort of parasite that can be treated rather than something chronic like IBS.

Is there such a thing as an IBS specialist in Thailand? I would think this disease is more associated with

    Westerners.

    Thanks

  7. I am planning to cycle from Pattaya to Koh Chang around the 8th of January. I will be using a full suspension Trek MTB not the lightest bike but

quite comfortable. I know the distance is around 250 KM so I will do it in 2 or 3 days. The plan is to stay in Koh Chang a 2-3 nights then get a

    taxi/mini-van back to pattaya.

Firstly would anybody like to join me? I am a 28 yr old Scottish male, I am quite fit but newish to cycling. For me the distance wont be the problem,

however Im sure I will have a very sore bottom at the end. I will be cycling at a very moderate pace enjoying the scenery and stoping at any points

    of interest.

Secondly does anyone have advice on what route to take, guesthouse/hotels to overnight in along the way.

    Cheers

    Jon
