Biometric Passport Photographs
There is a Kodak shop on Thepprasit Road approx. 400 meters from Sukhumvit opposite the Outlet Mall and the weekend market.
They know exactly how and what; huge posters with photo-guidelines from several embassies are on hand.

Beware !
A friend of mine booked a return fare to the UK with a Pattaya travel agent and paid cash. He received all the flight details from the travel agent for both journeys on a computer printout to be shown at departure check in.
He flew out with no problems, when he checked in at Heathrow for his return he was told no money had been paid by the agent for the return flight. He had to pay for the flight again.
On his return to Pattaya he went to agent in Soi Post Office but the premises had been closed down and shuttered.
How can you avoid this happening to you?

Met a guy recently who had just brought one of these devices from somewhere in Soi Day & Night. I think he said it cost 500B and worked fine.

I forgot to mention it but this post has prompted me.
A few days ago in the Soi between 2nd Rd and Soi Baokow (Soi Honey Inn I think) I saw the expat walking about with the parrot on his shoulder.
It's a very impressive bird with lovely blue plumage, and bigger than I expected.
The parrot does appear to crap down the guys shirt though, which is a bit of a downer.
And I definitely prefer LJS to The Glitter Man.
Londo
Seen the guy riding around on a motor cycle with the parrot perched on his shoulder

I use Aeon atms here in the 'burbs of BKK, no ATM fee.
Thanks for the link and correct spelling

Have read that AON - ATM's in Thailand do not charge the 150B withdrawal fee. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so are there any in Pattaya?

I use www.moneycorp.com for a set monthly £1000 transfer from my UK bank a/c, usually takes 4/5 working days. The fee is £8.
For one of transfers the fee is £16.
If you are interested just go to the web site and you will find a contact link, hit the link and you will be contacted by phone for your requirements.
All very simple and all set up over the phone.
