  1. The report below says the woman was rescued and revived back to life at the scene. Other sources say she couldn't be revived and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Were there 1 or 2 women in the car? Are they dead or alive? https://www.chiangmaicitylife.com/citynews/general/danish-and-thai-couple-rescued-from-moat-accident/
  2. What do I have to type to get ก๋วยเตี๋ยว (noodles)? None of these work: kuaitiao, kuaytiow, kwaytiew
  3. Thai spell check works quite well on the whole. See sample text below showing only a few words that MS Word thinks are spelling mistakes. I tried messing around with zero-width spaces (MS Word: no-width optional breaks and no-width non breaks) as suggested, but that didn't help.
  4. Some words that I add to the custom dictionary are still underlined in red as spelling mistakes. For example: คริปโทเคอร์เรนซี (cryptocurrency) ดิจิทัล (digital) Here they are in the custom dictionary: And here is the spelling checker saying they are not in the dictionary: --- I have the proofing language of the document set to "Thai" and in proofing options I have "Suggest from main dictionary only" deselected.
  5. Is it just styling or does it server some aerodynamic or other purpose?
  6. So you shouldn't exceed 30 km/hr in first gear, 50 km/hr in second, etc.? Seems like it would be extremely high revs even before the max recommended speed.
  7. Surely they aren't the recommended speed for that gear? 1 = 0-30 2 = 30-50 3 = 50-75 4 = 75-110
  8. I do have the Thai keyboard but I would like to be able to just type away in Thai using the English keyboard without having to ever swap to the Thai keyboard or another program.
  9. I have to switch to the Thai on-screen keyboard input in Google Translate to type these characters. It would be good if you could type them using English letters or symbols. There is a way to display and choose words with ฯ and ๆ using the dictionary lookup feature in GT, but it only works for the first word or phrase you type in the input box i.e. you can't use it for words mid-sentence. For example, to get บ่อยๆ 1. Type "boi" and hit enter. GT will produce บ่อย 2. Now GT will lookup บ่อย and display similar Thai words, including บ่อยๆ 3. Select บ่อยๆ with mouse click or arrow keys and enter.
  10. Does anyone know if there is a way to type "ฯ" (pai-yan noi) and "ๆ" (mai ya-mok) with the English keyboard in google translate?
  11. Love the Google Translate feature that enables you to type Thai using English keyboard. But there are some words I just cannot get it to recognize. For example: เที่ยว - none of these work: thiao (RTGS), theeao, theow, thiow Does anyone know what system Google uses for typing Thai with English keyboard? RTGS works for some words, but not for others. Here are some other problem words that I have worked out: นิ้ว - niw เลย - loei เหลว - lew
