Exactly Binnsy,but the last forward pass resulted from the cross/corner,it was a header i think in open play that went on to Vela.

There was only one player between him and the goal(same as if the goalie would of been there,but he wasn't),hence off-side!

Also the cross was headed on that was the last forward pass,which clearly shows him as off-side,now if the goalie had stayed on his line then there would of been two players and the goal would of been allowed,a good decision by a good referee last night,i thought he had a very good game.

has anyone arrived airport at 18:30 at udon thani(UTH) and made it thru okay?

Is that cutting it too close to the 22:00 crossing close?

is the above 2 hours for transit and Laos visa issuance a reasonable length of time to budget?

As long as you get a taxi or mini bus you should be fine,the latest i would arrive at the Nong Khai side would be 9pm and you should easily do it before then.You will most probably arrive at the border around 7.30pm -8pm at the latest, 30 minutes from exiting Thailand and having your Laos visa in hand i think 8-30pm -9pm you will be done,it is a quiet time entering Laos at the time your doing and also a good time,so easy no worries at all!

Nemanja Vidic's agent has hinted that the defender could leave Manchester United after the World Cup as he has yet to make a decision on his future.

Vidic attempted to put an end to transfer speculation towards the end of the season by insisting that he had no plans to leave Old Trafford before his current deal expires in 2012.

However, Real Madrid have again been linked with a swoop for the Serbia international and his representative has refused to rule out a move.

According to agent Paolo Fabbri, Vidic does not want to focus on anything other than the World Cup at present and will consider his club situation later in the summer.

"At the moment there is no news," said Fabbri. "Nemanja has obviously left for the World Cup with Serbia and is concentrating on that.

"We are waiting for information. We are waiting for Nemanja to tell us what he wants to do, so at the moment we are waiting as it is up to him."

World Cup focus

Asked whether United had offered Vidic a new deal, Fabbri said: "He is concentrating on something else so I guess it won't be until after the World Cup that he makes a decision on his future.

"We have requested some time from Manchester United to think about things, and Nemanja does not want to look at things until after the World Cup."

Fabbri insisted that Real Madrid had yet to make a formal approach for Vidic, who has been at Old Trafford since 2006.

"We have not heard anything official from them and Nemanja has requested I do not speak about particular clubs while he is at the World Cup," he explained.

"Any eventual transfer will only take place after the World Cup."

Is it practical to arrive Udon thani Airport at 1630 from Phuket and get a minibus to Nong Khai and reach Laos same night.

If not where is better to overnight N Khia or U Thani.I am in no hurry and budget not important

My friend will meet me on the Lao side of Frienship Bridge as despite passable Thai have never dealt with

local officials.

Prefer arrive evening so he does not have to miss work to meet me AM

Is there a last time to arrive with no visa please?

Open til 10pm so no problem for you to reach the border at all in a taxi or mini bus from the airport,i would get there for 9pm to be safe.

Ok folks this is the up to date list for the World Cup Fantasy league so far 22 entries 2 pending?

I will check back tomorrow at about 7pm for a final list of everyone who wants to participate in the greatest tournament in the World(including America) I think there will be one or two more stragglers but we have a good few players and i am happy with the quality of managers that will grace the Thai Visa forum and impart there knowledge on all things Fantasy!....good luck to one and all

I would like him at United,he seems to link up well with Rooney for England.

I think this fact will not be lost on Ferguson,just worries me still with his injurys we fave enough crocks at OT at the moment.

But i think United are favourites.

Teams entered so far, have a few more who have said they will enter so with a day or so to go looks like we will have a pretty good league to play at.

There is also a private league championship which takes the best 5 scores average from each league so we can challenge other leagues in that championship.

I would say to all the participants to read up on the transfer and basic rules for team changes and scoring points.

Also at the end of the day it is a bit of fun and interest for board members to pit there football knowledge and luck against each other in the World Cup!Anyone who wishes to join up must do so before the first game,so keep em coming.

Yeah nice one mate,i just after accept you into the league as to make sure there are no duplicates and bogus stuff,have sent a few mails out to the regulars on the footie forum so i will check back later and put the names up and have a roll call.
