  1. Except the Farang friends of my "old man' which are just Farang I know but the age difference is to much that we could have something in common, I don't have any Farang friends here in LOS.

Not that I want to but it simply never happens for the past 6 years since I moved here that I mad some new friends or evan a so called "best friend".

I must admit that I am a bit shy and just try to get out of the way of other Foreigners.

My bets friend is my Thai GF. wub.png

  2. You are right. If you are keen on sports, then True probably offers some value. I'm a keen movie buff and True was pretty disappointing on that level. It's much easier (and cheaper) for me just to download new release movies from the internet.

But that is illegal!!! (and don't tell me you paying for that)

True Visions is awesome! I like the HBO Hits channel cause I kinda into the old movies as the story line is much more interesting/better than the new SHOOTING-EXPLOSION-ROMANCE-BLOCKBUSTER-BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!

...and for 2.000 Baht for Plat. Pack. Incl. all HD and all HBO channels I think it's a good deal.

  3. I don't understand what is so good about the Grammy Box? There are only 3 English channels to watch, isn't it? Universal, Syfy and AXN???

True Visions got lots of English speaking channels and many HD channels.

I just got my True Box a couple of days ago with Platinum Package incl. all HD channels and the 3 extra HBO channels.

I am more than happy with that.

  4. Does this mean Thais will no longer have to fill in Departure and Arrival cards?

Having to fill in the cards on an airplane is always a pain, find a pen, write in a confined place, have to dig out passport for number, answering questions of passenger sitting next to because they speak very little English and no Thai and can not understand many of the question on the card.

My Tip for you is if you cant remember your passport number, date and place of issue than simply right it down on your boarding pass back site. (The small one which you keep just before you enter the plain)

...and a pen you can keep in your pocket attached to your Polo or Business shirt.

  5. Hello Community,

    1.

My friend who is an Indian National needs to do a Visa Run on 14.02.2012. He now have an "Visa on Arrival" done at the International Airport in Bangkok.

From my own experience and what I done before is the Visa Run to Cambodia (German Passport holder).

Is it possible for Indians to do the same? Will he also get 15 days?

    2.

Another Indian National friend has got the 2 Month Tourist Visa which will expire on 02.03.2012. Can he also just do a Visa Run to Cambodia?

    Any recommendation are very welcome.

    Thank You

  6. Get yourself an Rapidshare account ;)

Torrent sucks in Thailand. The connection between seeders and leecher are terrible in East Asia.

It works only good in Europe and America.
