  1. What's the street price at MBK now? Anyone know?

Chances are the grey import prices will very soon reach a healthy (HK price) + 3,000 Baht equilibrium, until Apple starts official sales here.

    According to MacThai.com

    http://www.macthai.com/2014/09/21/iphone-6-mbk-start-at-40000-baht-iphone-6-plus-64000-baht-sold-out/

  2. Hi,

Just came from a 7/11 store on Sukhumvit Soi 4, 10110 Bangkok. (The last store on the left side coming from Sukhumvit Road opposite The British School of Bangkok.

The clerk who sells coffee in front of the 7/11 has "your" credit card. I forgot the name of issuing Bank but name on card is Mr W**** F******.

    Cheers.

  3. Can't we just order it from Singapore?

    as its released? NO

Strangely enough, once its released in Thailand, you actually do order and receive it from Singapore

Why not? I mean preorder starts tomorrow. Do I exactly have to live in Singapore to receive one?

Yep. I think so. Previous releases were only to area addresses.

What makes Singapore so special? Such a small city state.

What if I order it from the US. "Apple.com" Will it be shipped out to Thailand?

  4. No, the release date is 19th September. Only the key note is on 9th September at the Flint Center in Cupertino, California.

Check out macrumors.com and 9to5mac.com for latest news.

I think we can expect the iPhone 6 officially to be sold by True, AIS, DTAC etc. latest in November.

Before that just the usual imported phones for double the price.

  5. @bubba, yes my iPhone indeed is eligible. I called up iServe at Amarin plaza and they told me I have to bring in my iPhone, than they will check it for 1 to 2 hours and than it takes up to 1 month for the battery to be delivered. But i don't need to leave my phone there for one month. Once the battery arrived they would call me and replace it within one day.

I have to admit, the Apple service in Thailand is very bad but that might be because we do not have a "real" Apple store with genius bar. Friends of me do not face such difficulties in Europe.

Currently I don't know what to do. All this hassle just to replace a fxxxing battery??? Maybe just wait for the iPhone 6.
