I remember a story about a Thai, owning land which he couldnt own and a rare black panter was killed in that land

Was he deported? Did he go to jail? did he get a fine? Never heard the end of it.

What happened with the monks who had tigers they drugged and had also dead tigers laying in the temple?

Probably trading to Vietnam where you can eat tiger, arranged by a high ranked general. And if you even pay more, you can have rhino horn, form that same general. What happened to those monks, deported?

These guys were stupid, doing the tings they did and sharing these things on internet.

You know you can loose your job and in this case way more. Especially when other things also pops up.

Should you also deport all Thai, as they dont take care of their waters and plastic is freely floating int these waters?

In which they kill all those animals? Sewers which arent cleaned and all kind of waste is coming in the

    oceans? Calling the kettle black.

Well said, but, as you should know, you cannot deport citizens from their own country.

fresh Zebra sharks hanging on a hook at sea markets - mai pin rai ????

The World Conservation Union has assessed this species as Endangered worldwide, as it is taken by commercial fisheries across most of its range (except off Australia) for meat, fins, and liver oil. There is evidence that its numbers are dwindling.

These are not the average prawns sold in Makro etc. They are large tiger prawns. The piece of shell at bottom left hand corner with nail in it is possibly from a crab leg.     After the trader apologized and refunded the money (B1900) to the customer, he was allowed, by the market,  to continue his nefarious little business. :whistling:

Whatever wood you use, if it’s in contact with the house structure use chanderite after sanding and before adding finishes, it can take a week to flash off the volatiles.

Coconut is absolutely useless as a structure as it will decay in just a few years. But for things you can see like shelving (not in cupboards), boxes and similar it can be really pretty and functional. I think that it isn’t very strong latitudinally (just think how it bends in storms) so it will need to be short or thick shelves.

I agree 100% about your comments. I had a couple of coconut trees (12" diameter sawn up when I had the woodcutters over 4 years ago.

He cut in full 1" planks about 8ft long. I built a tool storage cabinet from this wood. It MUST not get wet. It is reasonably strong but as said previously, keep the spans short. No use for building construction (house/sheds etc). So far I have had no termite or ant interest. The wood is fibrous much like hardened Weetabix.

Captain of Mauritius oil spill tanker MV Wakashio arrested and charged over environmental 'catastrophe'.

Authorities in Mauritius have arrested the captain of the Japanese ship that ran aground on a coral reef and spilled 1000 tonnes of oil on the Indian Ocean island's protected coastline.

Sunil Kumar Nandeshwar, captain of the MV Wakashio and who is from India, was charged with "endangering safe navigation" and is in custody pending a bail hearing next week, police inspector Sivo Coothen said yesterday.

A bit late in replying but the reporters at https://www.9news.com.au/  really ought to do their homework.

"Environmentalists in Mauritius are objecting to plans to pull the bow of the ship — the smaller part of the Wakashio — out to sea and allow it to sink.
The larger part of the ship will be dragged off the coral reef where it ran aground and towed away, possibly to India for salvage.
"Authorities say they will tow the bow eight nautical miles out to sea and sink it in the waters that are 2000 feet deep," Sunil Dowarkasing, an environmental consultant and former member of parliament in Mauritius, said."

The stern is the smaller part containing the valuable  engine room, machinery, superstructure and all navigation equipment etc. This may be towed to Alang,  India for salvage. https://www.google.com/search?q=india+ship+salvage+beach&sxsrf=ALeKk02w16oI8BQykY-Uk-vOpDSGp0ydWA:1598080877908&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi16rKYo67rAhXBjOYKHUMTA2gQ_AUoAXoECBMQAw&biw=1536&bih=722

The larger midships and bow section./was towed offshore 8 miles and sunk in 2000ft of ocean..

So, in 2007 a trade agreement was made to to trade pork between the two countries [Japan Thailand].

Yet last year [2019 - 12 years later] Japan became the first country clear to export pork to Thailand.

Now Thailand wants Japan to take more more pork.

Seems somewhat entitled of Thailand - these news reports seem so lacking in any really information or base.

This is the best bit...  Prime-ministers discussing pigs !!!...

Indeed, most politicians are experts on this subject.

Binding brake on the trailer .. heat build up transfers thru' to the wheel rim increasing the pressure in the tyre .. the heat generated can also be enough to burn the paint of all components in the brake area and above including the mudguard ( why plastic guards on trailers carrying flammable cargo are supposed to be fire retardant ) this in turn further increases the tyre pressure to the point where it will let go with a bang ..

Excellent points. There were 12 wheels on the trailer, as you say possibly more than just a blow out to cause a fire. Lucky he wasn't carrying petroleum products.
